Disapointed
Hey guys, so i was with my buddy yesterday who has a twin turbo right hand drive Subaru station wagon and i was in my Rx8, we were bored and noticed theyrs a small meet going on in Square 1 mall underground parking lot, we get there and mann since when were honda guys so close minded ?? i use to drive my brothers civic about 3 years ago and let me tell you it was diff maybe because i was driving a civic ?, now its like they look at your car and say its gay or its just a mazda ?? its funny because 1 of the guys asked me what i did to the car, i told him rims as you can see, exhuast and more **** to come later on, and he looks at me and says its a mazdas with a fart can and its ****, i was like WTFF ?? i asked him what car he drove and he was driving a silver prelude, and he had a huge exhaust on his car, but its not **** ?? wheres the appriciation for cars these days ?? i mean his car with a 3" exhaust ? wheres that gona get him ?? hes losing so much power, a prelude weights almost the same as a supra and thats heavy, and putting a 3" exhaust you lose back pressure, on the other hand i heard his prelude and let me tell you his sounded like a fart can, he hears my car and says your so cool in a sarcastic tone, i was like wtff, for those who dont know rx8s have a 1.3 rotary engine in it, and with a proper exhuast it shoots flames and backfires like crazy, and my rx8 sounds like a Yamaha R6 600cc Bike, all the crazy motorcyles i seen on the road gives me a thumbs up, mann wheres the appriation in cars these days ???

not really even when i go to the JDM meets honda guys always the same, theyr cars are only good.....thats how they think, i go with my buddies and they all hate honda guys and now i know why lol i still love Eg6s dont get my wrong but woww talk bout being hard headed

yea no i understand what your saying, but i mean mainly guys that dont drive a honda or know a guy with a modded one, would rip on the "honda scene" all my buddies drive different cars, helps me to appriciate more then just a civic. Rx8's are BA only thing is i feel to big when i sit inside the car. I guess its a "to each its own". So some guys left a dirty taste in your mouth, we arn't all the same though, i say you drop some pics of that Mazda and share a little insight to the honda community.

You can be sure you are welcome at any TCC meet!
We welcome other cars. Come on out to the meet tonight, Would love to see your car. Don't worry about those idiots, they are obviously high on them selves and have their own little tight group.
I drove an 86 volvo 740 turbo for a while. Brought it to the meets and it was a great conversation starter! lol. TCC is a car enthusiast club, not just a civic club.

dude.... forget those guys... they aren't really tuners... they're probably just some of the "sheep" that follow others... and just do **** cuz somebody else did it... come out to our meets... i'm sure you won't find any haters around here... a real "tuner" can appreciate most cars... and a real tuner also understands that... being a tuner is all about being unique.. and keeping it your own style... those guys are just fail.. anyhow you should show up to our meets... we all appreciate nice cars... regardless of brand or whatever... come out today... check the meet section... would be nice to see an RX-8 and a Scooby turbo grocery getter show up

Normally we have a lot more people coming out then that, not really sure why there are so few this week.
Add yourself to the list and come on out!

The Import car scene has become a hater-scene. Period.
The Euro car owners hate on the Japanese car owners, and the Japanese owners seem to hate on everything....
Like I stated in another thread, people do not appreciate or respect anyone or anything anymore.
I remember 10-15 years ago, the import car scene was the best. Everyone got along, and had fun meeting up and cruising around. Wasaga beach was 'THE SPOT' in the summer, and Woodbine + 16th Ave was a car show in itself every weekend in the spring/summer.
Darknights was 'THE SHOW' which used to draw huge crowds as well.

Forget those people!! People will always hate no matter what car you drive.
There are certain people out there who just have no appreciation but their own rusted out civics… no pun intended.
You can be assured that TCC is not the same and our meets are actually fun and we just joke around with each other and have a good time.
You should for sure check them out like MRP suggested

you just went to the wrong meet bud. And dont even talk about jdm as there are a lot of douchebags there . We actually had a douchebag from there come in here to tells us he drove a 800 hp and he was all that LOL.Then he was selling his honda for 8 gs when he invested it like 35000 , what a moron
. Although there are some decent people there , but lately its not as good as it used to be
anyways , most people around here are more chilled , a more mature crowd... I may come to the meet tonight since I dont have work ...
