This car is sweet fully built single cam turbo.
He babies this thing more than his girlfriend.
He just bought a bike and is gonna pick up a beater.
One of the cleaniest & meanist out there. I think he's letting it go for cheap!
Here is a sample for all the del sol haters including me!

Sols are nice. They only leak if the weather stripping is old, this is true about any convertable or targa vehicle though. A tad heavy and they flex a little do to being a targa top.
Apart from that they are nice cars.
EDIT: OH and only having two seats is a blessing. I hate carrying all kinds of people around in my car.
I'm not a taxi.

I was looking threw P.I's book today and noticed a that there was strut bars for the 94-97 but not for the 93?. why is this?. I figured they were the same threw all the years. what else is different between the years?. and what year is best?.

they are mostly the same im pretty sure. in 94 they used the dohc 1.6 and scraped the non vtec 1.5 and added a pass side air bag. and in the later years they dropped the round aux lights on the front bumper. youll find that 90% of the ones u see are 93's. if i were to know what i know now i would gone with a 94 with the b16

96-97 del Sol VTECs also came with the B16A2 OBDII motor (exactly the same as SiRs). 94-95 came with the OBD1 B16A3.

del Sol Si (D16Z6, D16Y8): EH6
del Sol VTEC (B16A3, B16A2) : EG2
...commonly called EG2s just like EG hatches are called EG6s.

yup... like mdt920 said... i will probably be sellin my car this or next year if someone makes the right offer... i'm in no rush at all to sell the car... if it doesn't sell i'll just keep havin a blast with it!
their weight is very similar to their EG coupe equivilant (ie. del sol Si with all anemities weighs similar to EG couple Si with all anemities)
Nothing a lil Boost couldn't move around quickly

del sol
I just bought one in april of 2005. I've wanted one since high school.
Here's some background info on it:
It is an EG2 (the one with the B16) and I've clocked about 5000km since owning it.
It's a 96 model which doesn't have the middle (fog) lights. Originally I wanted the older models with them, but they grew on me and now I prefer them. Another upgrade for the 96 on is that that improved on the weather stripping on the targa top. This doesn't mean there's no leaks, I only get leaks if I high pressure wash and aim at the top of the windows. I never get leaks in the heaviest of rains.
Del Sols seem to retain their value more, just look on trader. I lucked out and good price and paid about 2500 less then a similar one on trader. This could be due to the fact that there aren't too many on the roads. Since owning mine, I've seen under 10 sharing the roads with me.
You can save a few bucks if you go for the S or Si models also know as the "del slow" but if you have the cash, i'd suggest getting the vtec model or swap it.
Why did I buy it? i guess this is the pro's section: I wanted something different, don't see too many. I wanted a removable hardtop. I wanted a two seater. Decent trunk. Fun lil car and don't listen to ppl complaining about weight and handling. It's not much worse then the EG, but with mods, you can easily compensate for that. The thing I enjoy most about the sol is targa top.
Cons: 2 seater, price, parts, and check for honda rust, these cars were made from 93-97.

its very easy to look gay in that car. kinda like the new beetle.
I would own one, but I'd be very careful about the parts I put on. I'd start with rims and a drop, then I'd quickly go about making it really fast.
