del sol...chick car or not?

I'd say probably, its an easy driving, cute looking car...
the miata probably fits into that catagory, but I'd get a miata any day (over a Del Sol)...
Miata= RWD, perfect balance, affordable price FTW...

I dont see how a car can be classed as a males car or a females car. A car is a car. you drive it from A to B and back.
I know a guy who drives a nice Del Sol in Grimsby, well I dont know him, but I see him around all the time... and hes a BIG guy...

Don't hate me for saying this but, I have never liked the del sol. The head lights and the design of the back end have always turned me off the car.
HOWEVER! I have seen on streetfire.net some crazy-a$$ del sols, one with 600whp ripping thru the gears. I would drive a modded sol but not a stock one.
I honestly do not get the hype over the car, yes they are light etc etc.... but thats not enough for me.
As for it being a chick car, I believe so. Most "cute" cars are designed that way for a reason. If it's cute, then most likely females will like it and buy it.
You never hear a guy say "yeah i had to buy it cause it was just so cute!"

yeah I've heard people consider cars chick cars (ei, del sol, miata, rsx)...
but to me a car is a car, at the end, its just transportation (albeit, fun)... I'd drive a nice del sol anyday... who cares what everyone says... that goes for the miata and RSX as well...

This guy has the right idea!
One of the main reasons i turbo'd my cavalier was because everybody told me it couldn't be done....

It does have that chic car look and almost makes you wanna say "nice Del Sol! does it come in mens?" But it not as much of a chic car as a precidia, miata, or those tracker's. I've seen some pretty sweet Del Sol's. Is there not someone in the GTA with a H22 in one? I guess it depend on the overall look of the car. If it had a JDM look, some serious suspension and motor to match i say guy car. But if it's Kermit Green bone stock and your a seceratry i say chic car.
