Very well said. I went to DKN 2 years ago, no problems. But saw many cars on the side of the road. Didn't bother going last year, like bbarbulo said, it's entrapment at it's finest!

Besides the cop harassment, many of the cars don't change from year to year, so you're overpaying to see the same cars year after year.

and another $500 or so in tickets for various mods, towing & impounding the car...... then leaving the person at the side of the road with a dead cell saying " thats not my problem "

Maybe someone should print this out,(as well as the other threads about the screw ups they did), and maybe send it to the chief?

I'm pretty sure he would be PLENTY interested to see that, there's more going on under his noise than he wants to, or cares to admit.

How many tickets were given out again?

How many were for ACTUALLY street racing?

I thought so.

cop....."do you know why I pulled you over"

poor confused kid with a sick mother in the car going to the hospital, but took the wrong route, and passed by the Markham fair grounds on that day.... "no.... "

cop......"you drive a Civic.....don't you know that Civics are always the ones doing street racing?"

poor confused kid with a sick mother in the car going to the hospital, but took the wrong route, and passed by the Markham fair grounds on that day.... "huh? I was driving my mother to the hospital....I wasn't even speeding. "

cop....."well, your car 'looks' fast with all those stickers on it.....so you must be a street racer. I know what I'm talking about, I saw the Fast Furious movie too. I know that cars with lots of stickers on them, are street racers.'" (cop acting all proud)

poor confused kid with a sick mother in the car going to the hospital, but took the wrong route, and passed by the Markham fair grounds on that day.....leaves with 2 tickets.....1 for banner on top of windsheild (3.5" to be exact......which btw didn't go past the "a/s" marking at the top/sides of the windshield), and 1 for improper muffler.....(which was a Canadian Tire factory replacement muffler only a week old, BUT it had a pretty chrome SCREWED on aftermarket tip on it).

Yep, sounds like a street racer to me.

End result......judge threw BOTH tickets out. (the judge actually rolled his eyes when he saw what the tickets were for). The cop didn't show.

The poor confused kid with a sick mother in the car going to the hospital, but took the wrong route, and passed by the Markham fair grounds on that day.... actually heard the juge say in a lower voice....."these types of tickets are a waste of my time, as well as the tax payers time. When are the police going to smarten up?"

The name of the poor confused kid with a sick mother in the car going to the hospital, but took the wrong route, and passed by the Markham fair grounds on that day............is withheld, because he's afraid he will be picked on when summertime rolls around again....................

......because he owns a Civic....................and every cop KNOWS, that Civic'c are the ONLY cars that street race.

Was this a fake story? Did this really happen?

You tell the poor confused kid with a sick mother in the car going to the hospital, but took the wrong route, and passed by the Markham fair grounds on that day... that he's a liar.

I saw the kind of stuff those cops pulled that day, and after hearing what this kid said, I'd beleive him 100%.

Too bad the cheif doesn't see it that way.

And no, I wasn't the poor confused kid with a sick mother in the car going to the hospital, but took the wrong route, and passed by the Markham fair grounds on that day.

I think you all remember my 3 tickets that I received going and leaving to and from Darknights.

Ticket #1: Improper license plate display (It was a little angled back on my front bumper cause it was ziptied to the bottom of the buddy club skirt (still 100% visible from all angles)

Took to court: Won

Ticket #2: Improper Muffler (leaving darknights an underdover trailed me then got a cruiser on me and got me when i turned down hwy 2 to go home. Was driving SO slow and so quiet.

Took to court: Won

Ticket #3: Insurance card not shown (I didn;'t have my current slip for insurance so being dicks that cops are he gave it with the improper muffler to make his quota higher)

Took to court: Won

Along with getting heatstroke and getting really sick on sunday and not being able to go, and the cop harrasment, and the overpriced food and watery slushies.... Darknights was a fun experience.

JUST NEXT TIME IF THERE IS A NEXT TIME IM BRINGING A COOLER WITH WATER AND SANDIWCHES HAHA ****
