Darknights = Police trap

I wouldn't bring my ride to this...

Doesn't everyone remember all the B.S last time...

Cops love shows like this and stock up on ticket books the day before...

Go in something that is stock...

Unless your in the show...

Less B.S from the popo...

Problem is most cops don't know whats street legal and just blanket everyone for everything that looks different...

Quotas easier to meet this way....

Seen it happen two years in a row...

I agree.

If you have ANY mods on your car, you are better off not taking it up to Darknights. The last three years I have gone, there have been cops stopping everyone coming out/going in in modified cars. The condition of the parking lot is also incentive not to take your own ride if you care about your paint, suspension, etc. I'm trying to convince my mom to lend me her Cavalier so I can go to the show.

The parking there is ****, its a gravel lot and it's tight. If you do decide to take your own ride your best bet is to find a spot away from the crowd.

Oh yeah there's a police station just down McCowan too.

There's really nothing close by to park. There's a farm and a church nearby but I bet the cops will be tagging/towing cars parked there.

I refuse to go just for that reason.
It'll probably be $18 at the door this year, and $10 for parking.....No thanks

And for people that going to see if they can get a good deal on something for their car, think again......

Remember to add the price for parking and addmision the the thing you're buying.

Remember, **** is still free on the net if you know where to look.

I'll just wait to see the pics on there web site.

Now of course if I got FREE tickets, it would be a different story.:working:

I heard that the Highway traffic law is not very specific about where the front licence plat is. Is that true? Does anyone know where I can find the documentation on the internet?

redfox - check out the minstry's site.. it's right there.. i printed out a copy and keep it in my car for when they hound my *** (bi-weekly and now almost daily since the accidents)
very helpful to avoid un-needed tickets for intakes/lighting/etc.

as for parking @ darknights, last year a guy that lives across from the show entrance (read where the vendors go in)
was parking guys for 5$.. just an idea, and yes, the cops are all over ANY modded ride like white on rice. carpool with yer buddies in a nice van or something... split the parking cost, and you don't have to worry about tickets or getting your stuff stolne either!
