Unhappy Crx Or Eghatch

hey ive been a honda fan for the longest time, and its almost time to call one my own, i cant decide between a crx or a eg hatch, i want one with a b16 because i cant put up with the stock slowness im used to driving my parents cars with atleast 300hp. so i have a few questions,,, stock crx si, is it fast or whut, and i hear from friends that crxs cost a **** load on insurance??

any stock civic is slow as ****

i would go with whatever one you can find in good cond. I'm telling you right now, g/l finding out w/o any rust. Other then that.. it's just preference, we cant tell you what car you should buy

get a nice eg hatch, but will be hard to find without rust. throw in a gsr/b16 and u should be ok. if u are used to 300hp cars, then u might want to look into boost

if you are used to 300hp cars maybe you should think of another car! lol

i like the crx myself, think it would be worth the extra on insurance myself, but it's all about what you want....

Dave, how's going buddy!

toyotegra, I like both, but if you can find a mint condition CRX, buy that instead. It is all about transmission setup, and power/weight ratio.

Go for the CRX.. A far superior car compared to the EG IMO.

^CRX

I hated them cuz they were all hype. Then I got a good deal on one. I was going to part it or fix and resale. But after I took it around the bloack, i was hooked.

Im a sedan/hatch kinda guy.

Id rather have a nice hatch tho over crx.

I have a clean fresh painted 89 DX civic with rims and full 91 exterior and interior conversion. LMK.

The CRX is a nice looking car.

Good luck in trying to find a rust free one in Ontario.

crx aint more to insure, who comes up with this? I've owned 3 crx and none were more to insure than my civic hatches...personally I would choose the crx but it will be hard to find a good one without spending an arm and a leg and it will cost more to swap a b-series

im thinking eg swapper motor, oem lip kit, dropped, rims, inteak headers exhaust ect and when i get more money 2 tone, white on the body black roof and pillars, still looking for more opinons tho this is a very hard choice, but you are all right its expensive for a mint crx, its almost a 20 yr old car.

i love eg hatches but a crx with a jdm front end on is just pimp. it will be harder to find a crx in good condition than a eg. i'd buy both if i had the $$.
