Crooks!!!

its not bad enough that my car is a write off but now even my system was stolen outta my wrecked car.
my insurance company told me to go take my deck and my box out, and even any little things like my m3 mirrors, corners and intake so i went today to go do that and when i get to my car my 2 12' JL subs were gone and my deck was ripped outta my dash. the dash was completely mangled up. my two subs were punctured but the box was in perfect shape (surprisingly) and the deck was in mint condition. both were gone!!
when they towed my car to Atlantic Auto Body it was under surveillance and after few days they had to tow it across the street to the junk yard and that too had cameras. welll whoever was towing it across the street must have stopped on the side and ripped everything out. i didnt get any money for the system from insurance cuz i didnt have any reciepts so thats why they told me to remove it, well i guess i cant now. this accident which wasnt even my fault completely screwed me over.

all those tow truck guys are crooks. a few years back when i totalled my gen2 gsr (i miss this car sooooo much!!! ), i had this 4 d-cell mac flash light on the side of the seat and after the accident, it flew to the front of the seat. and b4 they tow the car away, i saw my flash light sitting there and was wondering if i should take it with me, then i thought since i'll be going back to the car to take out my stereo and some other stuff, i might as well take those at the same time. well, that was the last time i saw my flash light, and damn, those are fresh batteries i just put in there, too!!! :fustrated

i was thinking about asking them for the tapes but it wouldnt show much if the guy ripped out the system on a side street.
even though he would bring the car into the junk yard, the cameras cant really tell if there was a system in the car or not.

You guys gotta stop using the term 'hang him by his *****', it literally sends a shiver of pain up my spine.. So potentially painful..

But seriously find out who towed your car and pursue it!

Cruzzin, call your ins. company and speak to your adjustor,if he's no help ask for a supervisor. The shop is responsible for this because it was in there care they can get charged for neglect!
Trust me, my car was at the bodyshop after my accident and someone accidently left it outside (I think it was an inside job) and stole 5k worth of part's. the result is I got it from insurance and they're suing for neglect plus they're expence's.

we called the ins company and they said theres nothing they could do. but then we called the yard and argued with them and told them how my deck and subs were gone and then they said that how come my amp wasnt there. so i know for sure it was them that took it or else how would they know my amp wasnt there.
on monday i gotta go to the yard and speak to the manager.

Insurance

Just wondering.

I bought my car for $6200.... but with all the **** I've done to it the modz are worth more then the car.... if the car gets broken into and say i make a claim for around $10,000 what will the insurance company do? Do they just write the car off? Should I have told them about all the stuff i put in my car and have them cover it at the cost of higher premiums?

Just make sure you keep the receipts for everything.

Don't let them of the hook, keep the pressure on them and get your stuff back or the money for it.

Anything added to your car has to be on record at the insurance company; otherwise, they are not liable to make payment for the add-ons.
