How exactly does this work???
Does the officer have to show this befiore he can complain about anything safety oriented oin your car??

I have friends that could use this as well as my self but i wanna be prepared so if i ask a cop i dont saound like an idiot.

Its suppose to be some certificate that an officer ahs to have in order to complain about anything saftey related on your car, like exhasut and such. THis is something i read about in another thread in this forum and wasnt too clear on it so i was just asking so if anyone knows about this can they inform us all ??

hey i'm new here. I Couldn't help noticing the topic of the subject. I tell you right now guys you better watch it if you live in the city of peel regional yo can get f*@$ed easly from a peel oficer.

This is how it all happened.....!!!! I was parked at the front of the front entrance of the mall and my civic was slamed like you couldn't even Imagin my wheels were tucked under my wheelwell
so a next guy with an 87 integra 1st gen and it was slamed also but slamed to a point were it was rubbing at any bump, so I see that the Integra was pulling in were i was parked and then what do I see an peel regional cop was following him from behind then they both pass me, I was just sitting in front in my car with my family sitting in my car. The cop pulls him over and tells him that his car was considered unfit. The cop can't tell for sure if it's unfit or not so they give you a summen's to go to this peel regional police safty inspection center whitch is located on wolfdale were termenduse chines resterant is. Well f@#$ man i had to go there the next morning and show them my car. I asked one of the oficers y they would pic my car if it was unfit, it looked so mint there was just two small rust marks you guys know were it always rust, the backwheelwell. Nothing was falling apart, well my wheelwell covers were shaved right off from bottoming out. They checked every thing around the extirrior and even in the intirior like doors,gage's,seatbelt light,brakes, wheels,etc. .

They go by a point system, they give you points on every little thing they see that's unsafe in your car well unfortunatly i failed because i rased my front end higher then the back and they told me that my back spring were not safe because they were saging more then the front. I took out my 3rd red brake light lens and put in a red mesh and they told me that it wasn't safe either there was more but to make long story short, I failed and they took my plates away from me. I had to tow my car to were i had to bring it and get my car saftyed again so that they know that your car is safe to drive but after that you have to report to them so they can confirm that you really did safty it or not. TO BE CONT
