craziness over the weekend

Just thought people would like to know some good old stats what happened this weekend with issued fines. During the Darknights weekend 750 tickets were issued, 1500 cars inspected and 15 cars were taken off the road in the markham region. Sorry if any of u succomb to the police. I dislike them very much so. U may argue that they are just doing there job but hey i don't have to like every profession on this planet (like insurance companies).

take it easy.

You knew it was coming. I didn't even end up going. Still, I heard that two dummies got caught doing 150kph in a 50 zone.

wow, darknights is like a mini-goldmine for the markham police

are people just ignorant or simply just don't care? man, i can think of many other ways to spend my hard earned money than to donate it to the pigs.

I didn't even go and I live like 15min from there ... York Region Police (AKA Markham Pigs) are scavengers for the civics. I couldn't tell you how many times I've been pulled over for no other reason except having a ricey looking civic

^^^ My reasons to exactly why i didnt bother going either...I think Darknights is going to suffer the most from the police and their motives for issuing tickets for minor offences...I cant believe that with all the bs thats happening in this province today (ie. Pedophiles, rapes, murders, kiddy ****, etc.), a police officer is taking his sweet *** time to pull me over and write a ticket for an aftermarket exhaust...COMPLETE BS...I think darknights should step up and file a class action lawsuit for harrassment and loss of business...This is only going to stop people from going to the show in the future...My 0.02 cents

guys, don't wet your pants...

I didn't get hassled on either day. As a matter of fact, I left DKN Sunday, and I had to wait for my buddy, so I pulled to the side of the road and waited. Lit a smoke... my buddy came and pulled up behind me. So there was 3 cars in total parked on the side of McCowan. A cop drove by and stopped, asked if we needed help, I just said I was waiting to finish my smoke cuz I don't smoke in the car. He said "Can't blame ya! Have a good one..." and drove off. About 5 other cops drove by, no one said anything.

Don't make it sound like they were out to get anyone with a Civic, there were tons of cops all around, and they pulled over and inspected all kinds of cars, from moo-stangs to foci, to... whatever - everything!

Props to Markham area police for showing a presence and not being too much of a pain in the ****

if i got motivated to go though i'd just rent a car for the day$20 for rental car is cheaper then $110 or more retard ticket plus then your actually suporting a business and not a service we already pay to much for

sometimes i think that the local police sposer this show as all the other outdoor shows i have been to i have never seen more than 1 or 2 cars. at DKN there was so many police there. here is a list of them
MTO, TORONTO, BARRIE, SMOG PATROL, OPP AND OTHERS from what i have been told. sorry to any of the TCC guys that had been pulled over but as u know this is how DKN has been for the past 2 years and it will only get worse.

It doesn't bother me cuz I think I grew out of car shows. It seems like every car show I go to I just see the same thing over and over again so I don't even bother anymore.

Do I really have to elaborate? You're car doesn't have to be "riced out" to get pulled over. If you're car is just LOWERED without an exhaust or anything they'll pull you over. etc etc etc.

I don't remember saying I go pulled over anywhere ever for anything And I can guarantee that my exhaust isn't too loud and my car isn't too low...my tires are NOWHERE near rubbing. Just look at corey. His car is same height as mine pretty much...he got 11 tickets at once for what? his muffler doesnt make any noise...he got tickets for AMBER CORNER LENSES WHICH COME ON STOCK VEHICLES...and a bunch of other bull****.
