I used to live in Whitby and never had any problems, I don't understand why you think it's so bad. I'm afraid to drive my car into Scarborough for fear of a ticket but out east it doesn't even enter my mind.

My friend and I got pulled over lots in his truck for everything but we still didn't get any tickets. Maybe they pull people over for careless driving,I see lots of idiots driving in Oshawa and Whitby that must have purchased cracker jack boxes.

example, marc drivin his civic, and works at the foodcourt. at the begining of the night he went to leave to go home and drove out of the parking lot, the cop chased him and pulled him over about 10 meters out of the foodcourt. the cop took 45 minutes and then ended up giving him a ticket for not having his ownership signed in ink (it is btw), a $110 ticket. with no reason to pull him over, does this not sound a little like harassment to you? the police continued to sit in the parking lot and pull over any cars that left that were "tricked out". it may not have been bad in whitby while you lived here, but idont even drive a honda (their fav target) and since my car came out of the shop in may i and my brother have been pulled over 5 times for no reason other than "random checks." i dont get tickets cause my car is totally legal, but it still annoys me and i think its ridiculous. lol sorry about the semi-rant.

Dont go to the food court any more late at night. Go into the station and make a complaint.

I don't agree with cops pullling people over without a reason that pisses me off but if your peeling away from a light, pounding the stereo when at lights etc. then by all means pull me over. It's only going to get worse and we just need to make sure are vehicles are legal in every way even though I'm sure they'll still find something.
