Comptech closes doors.

Just read this on H-T...Looks like the parts side will be no more and they'll be focusing more on the racing side of things.

Its a sad reality. Companies like Toda, Jun, Comptech, AME, Endless, etc. They all make quality products, and put insane amounts of R&D into everything. People just don't appreciate that. They see a header and think its just some piping and that if they go with $100 headers they are being smart shoppers.

I'll miss the Comptech brand. Definatly a legend in performance.

Definetly a legend!! But an even Bigger legend in the pocket book!! How did they expect to survive in the parts market with prices so high?? I'm surprised they lasted as long as they did.

If you read the thread. The dealers for Comptech have first dibs at everything. What they don't want will probably go on sale. I doubt they'll have a TSX supercharger lying around, unwanted.

ahaha, i'd be satisfied with the short shifter, the lightened flywheel, the strut bar, front and rear sway bars, header, and springs!

My guess would be, Oscar Jackson and his crew but they would need to expand beyond just performance.

This being said on TCC??? Whats happening here??

I'd like to see HFP get out from accesories and into a more performance role, to know the amount of knowledge, research and money behind Honda racing would make it ideal for Honda to use what they know to produce parts for the street and supply the consumer. Look at TRD, Nissan Motorsports.
