Took my 98 Accord for services yesterday, they gave me a 02 Civic for couple hours, so I can do my work.

Anyways, In my opinion...the car is poorly design, interior is okay, but kinda make me feel like driving a domestic. Also the wiper control is bothering me, instead of a "twisting" switch, I have to tilt it up and down to control the speed.

Performance and handling....

I have to push it very hard to give me decent power. But then the engine is extremely noise, as for the handling, the corner was okay, but the suspension is a big "No No!" don't know why they took out the double "wishbone(spelling?)", when I was going up on a "relatively rougher" road, it shake like crazy and making me so uncomfortable, I wasn't even that fast...it was just 80Km/h.

Anyways, I hope Honda will do something about it in the future model or the customer may switch to other brand names!

Again, it is just my personal experience, no offence to the 7th Gen. 4drs owners! :)

Mugen C

I haven't driven one yet but I do not like the look of them at all. I like the coupes but the sedans look too narrow and too high.

I was looking into the 1.7 EL, but after driving it I was very disapointed. Just like the Civic but w/ all the fixings.

The New Civics are soft cars built for comfort, they aren't the same tight cars of 10 years ago.

I'm still not a fan of the sedan, but the look of a slammed coupe has grown on me.

And you gotta like the flat floor in the rear
