I also like the Fit and the 04-05 Acura EL with the redesigned front and rear ends.

Not sure about the A3 and the VW. I heard that reliability is not that good on those cars.

i would definitely not limit myself to just civics, but i would probably still have a civic as a daily in the future just for the fun of tuning and stuff....

probably the following are ones i would go for:
IS250
STi
S2000

and will have to see what's up in the next 3-5 years of cars

What is it with everyone wanting to drive an STi? With the kind of money you'd have to spend on an STi you could rather get a nice sports sedan like the TL, or Lexus, or even Infinity.

I think a lot of people don't know what "to afford a car" really means. Owning a car doesn't make it affordable to you, you will need to sustain yourself in every other way while having this car and still live comfortablely.

Not buying an expensive vehicle and eating instant noodle for the next 3 years.

my next car purchase will likely be between a 2002 WRX Sti, or a 2006 mustang GT

I may go back to my roots and get a 1990 Ford Aerostar XLT. Epitome of economy right there.
