The SiR only came as a coupe in 99-00, and hatch 02+. The coupe in 99 came in a special colour called Electron Blue Pearl (EBP). In addition, there was black, Milano Red, Vogue Silver Metalic, and that's it. It came with a B16A2 DOHC VTEC engine and 5 speed tranny, making 160hp and about 113lb-ft of torque. Had ABS, 4 wheel disks, front and back sway bars, sunroof, cruize control, power/remote locks, pwr windows, and all the other goodies that you would expect on a nice car. It also had body coloured mirrors, sideskirts, door trim, and front lip. The rear lip was an option. The standard wheels were 7 thick spoke aluminium alloys in 15" size with 195/55/15 tires. All the SiR coupes were assembled in the US plant, so the VIN number starts with 1. Right now, the value ranges from $15,000 for a high mileage 99 to about $20,000 in mint condition with some modifications if done right. Honda House in Chatham, ON is a good place to buy one of these if you want a modified one.

Hey Silver Rocket,
Good observation but there are also a few other differences. Obviously Daytime Running Lights, kph speedo but the windshield washer nozzles are different! Actually all the nozzles for Canadian Civics are different from U.S.
An almost useless piece of knowledge...but it's knowledge nonetheless.
All the 99/00 were assembled in Honda's East Liberty Ohio plant however, the engines/transmissions were made in Suzuka Japan. So, in a sense, you can consider the engines JDM.

and Yes, I do have an SiR...2000 in Flamenco Black.
