civic
ok so i just got my g2 and im shopping around to find a good deal on a civic my friends who have multiple experiences in buying civics told me the best time to shop around is in the winter when people want to switch cars because of snow. now i dont know if this is true or not but i still wanna find a good car i thinking buying a 93 civic coupe for about 3000$ with an engine swap and some mods should be good deal for a good car but i cant find anything deacent so i steped it up to like 96 with some a/c powered steering and perferably with sun roof but that doesnt really matter but still i cant find anything. should i just buy a normal civic with no mods what so ever and build it from scratch and keep looking and hopefully find a good deal out there? i have seen good cars but i send out questions and people dont seem to be interested on selling the cars?

try to find a stock civic. that way you know that there are no ghetto shortcuts.
it does seem like a waste to get a civic in mint/stock condition for 3k while you can get a modded one for same price, but with the **** people do when attempting to mod the car is quite outragious.

you can buy a stock one for 3 k, but eventually you're gonna wanna start building it up and you'll realize that with that 3 k you could've easily gotten one that had some mods.
When i got my first car i needed to get a car with some mods bc i didnt wanna spend the extra cash on buying small things like intakes, and all that ****.
But when your lookin into buying a car thats already slightly modded, stick to ones that are lightly modded and do as much research on the car as you can. If you see that there are short cuts taken, its usually an indication for second thought.
