Certified Inspection?

Certified Inspection?

What do they check on this inspection? Anyone have a link to it?

Safty

One word said it all.. just Safty.

They will check all of the signal lights, they have to work properly.
No parts are falling apart from the car.
Exhaust are properly hanged to the rear frame.
Rear view mirrors are intalled and working.
No visable damages to the windshield at least above the horizontal level.

No rust that might cause part of the steel on the body falling on the road.

Brake and brake rotor has reasonable life span and still functioning in the least stoping purpose.

Tires have to have the least treads above the indicator on the tire.. or something like 0.3 inches of tread... Not sure about the number...

frame has to be straight..

that's all I can think of for now.

Ya, it doesn't even hafta run, my 1989 just certified with no Head on the motor!
