CBS Hallmark Movie "Crossroads"

Anybody watch this? It's a true story about a family that have one child and mother killed due to street racing. Very interesting on how the victomized family and the guilty party handled it and how they are continuing.

If you are interested, here is the link to learn more.

now that I saw your post in another thread, I saw this movie. It was pretty good and I think it is a great alternative to crushing someones car. I believe the car the kid was driving was his parents Intrepid?

I happened to catch it by accident, didn't see it from the beginning, but I saw it from when the father was angry and then changed his mind about what needed to be done. The fact that this is a true story had me more intrigued and did some searching. I wanted to put this up and think it's important to show there are ways to deal with this other than just crushing cars. People have to understand that by just trying to convict or crush cars will not stop them alone. Again, it's not the cars, but the drivers themselves.

I don't think crushing peoples cars will do anything.. they'll just go out and get another car and go twice as hard at it.. I'm going to check this movie out though.. should be interesting to watch..

Wow, I just read the interview with the street racer from a link from the safe teen driver site, and it shows how badly that affected him. I gotta check out this movie.

It was a good movie... I agree with dub. If we start enacting problems like that it would be way more beneficial. Don't until people die to do it either. In this case it was the Kid and the husband/father who came up with the idea (more the father) therefore it goes to show you the ideas our politicians have are most of the time just quick solutions to gain more voters... bandaids

If something positive can come out of it, it is a good reminder to all of us.
