***$5 OFF ***

In an effort to bring all the Honda Marque car clubs together, HADA (Honda Acura Driver's Association) would like to extend a $5 discount to all TCC members for Sunday, August 13th’s Castrol Take it off the Streets HADA autocross series – with title sponsors: Downtown Acura and Discovery Auto Collision.

Just print out the first page of this thread and bring it with you to the event to claim your discount.

The events will be held at the Powerade Centre (formerly Brampton Centre for Sports and entertainment). For more information, pricing, start time and directions visit:

http://www.hadamotorsport.com/solo2/

The events are safe, legal and you can drive as fast as your car and abilities allow.

A friend of mine lost his rex in turn 1 at Mosport. If you need a Crossmember, I'm sure you can take his dirt cheap.

Dude, I rode in your car. Thought your car control skills were very impressive. Just needed some stickier tires and you'd have an easy 2-3 second gain. Just need seat time.

I'm planning to go - but would i need an helmet ? Is it ok to use a motorcycle helmet or is it better to buy one just for the car?

Most people use motorcycle helmets. Only freaks like me actually go out and buy an SA helmet. You only need those if you run a full rollcage in your car anyway - so gross over-kill for autocross.

my car has most of the interior removed, so maybe i'll just go with the motorcycle helmet thanks!! see everyone there. I'll be the guy in the beater turquoise hatch.

Cool. Feel free to ride shotgun in my red CRX for a run. The lack of interior doesn't make a difference for helmet protection. With a seatbelt on you're not going to hit the interior. With a rollbar, there's a post to your side that if the car rolls you'll hit a couple times so the SA helmets can take a few more secondary hits. Plus, they have a fire proof lining.

See you there.

Oh gosh! Waaaaay too much fun to be legal. And only a few people openly giggled at my 13" rubber

Anyone who wants to enjoy their car - you NEED to autox. I think i could sell my xbox now... and skip Wonderland....

Glad you had a good time. Props to all the TCC members in attendence. Hope you like the ride in the passenger seat. You threw that car really well for street rubber on 13s. Probably had more fun than someone on 17s.

bunch of no showing tccers! thanks again miles, you showed me some good tips and they worked very well! except i still couldn't get a good run so i just gave up and left early. it was an ok day, for some reason my tires just didn't work as well as the previous event. maybe it was the weather or i just have to drive better.
