carline automotive civics

carline automotive has three 1996 civics (h/b) that are modified selling for $12,900.oo w/ approx. 95,000 Km and above. the cars are in the current autotrader and have 5zigen wheels, WW body kit, coilovers and im not sure what else. anyways, is this price reasonable for what they are offering? you can view the cars at www.autotrader.ca. they're all selling for $12,900.oo. thanks!

Personally, I prefer to buy a car stock and modify it myself. Remember most people that drive modified cars tend to drive them alot harder than the average joe. I have also noticed that most places that sell these modifed cars tend to overprice them (ie. The Collection on Finch/Dufferin)

Just my 2 cents.

Pretty plain looking, nothing too special. Just body kits and rims and coil-overs. Not worth the money imo.

I tend to agree...

Was looking through the autotrader today and saw a Civic here in Burlington with "CUSTOM BODY KIT, NEVER SEE THIS ONE BEFORE"

Gee, was a Invader II front bumper with a Terminator II rear style wing (on a hb) and some side skirts that looked awefully familiar..

Was a 94 Civic HB with a ZC engine in it and was dubbed 110% FAST AND THE FURIOUS..

ROFLMAO.. Some of the scams these kids pull.

Regards,
OK

I'm one of those that got scammed...

Ah well ya live and ya learn eh?

$2500 later (and still no new engine) its looking how it should have originally. Still no rims.

For what they're asking it seems like to much personally.
Hell you can get an Si coupe for rougly the same price. Don't get me wrong I love the EK's (almost got 1 once) but it seems to high!

I saw those cars too. I went up to Bolton on Sunday to look for houses and on the way back, passing htrough Nobelton, I was like WTF!!!?? Since when do they sell done up rides out here hehe. The cars looked allright, but basically these places are just trying to pull another scam like The Collection dealership. Since they're a dealer, they get all the stuff at wholesale cost, have shitty shops slap it together, and try to make a shitload of $ off it. I know a few people in the resale industry and you'd be surprised at all the **** these guys pull on a daily basis.

just buy a stock car much cheaper than what they would ever sell it for unless it is about 6,000 or so other than that it is not worth it or else you are just getting scammed. AS for the 110% fast and the furious lol now that is funny stuff

Damn if I had the money I'd get it.
You wouldn't have to worry, it'd be goin to a good home where it'd be washed and waxed weekly.
But um ya no cash.

Pretty bone dry for 12+....I got my A+ condition 97 EX a few months ago for under 10 with 47k on it...mind you it was stock at the time but, still a better deal than that one IMO.
