I know all about this I was a hitter and the guy tried to screw me and make me pay double what the dent was worth...... I told him to go through insurance if he was going to be like that...he only ended up getting 150 after his deductible and I went from a 5star rating to nothing (155/mo full coverage on a 91 impulse to like 185 no collision)...now i have to pay 347/mo for a 2003 coupe LX

Small claims court. That's the only way I can see them paying for backing into you.
