That sucks man .

How did they know you had a good stereo? Or just because you have a cool car = cool stereo?

or when you drove in the lot you had it blasting, and caught their attention..........that’s what happened most of the time.

Blasting music in your area, or lots is like system waiting to get jacked.

sorry to hear.

Busted windows are misery. Stolen stereos compound the misery. Sorry to hear about it.

it all depends on your company..some do some dont..also it depends on how much weight your broker has in the industry..the more the more you can get away with.. but its also a double edged sword..as is anything with insurance these days anyway

Receipts go a long way so make sure you keep them. Its always best to let you insurance company know whats going on. If you put in a stereo system, and it gets jacked. Provided you tell them, and you have LEGIT receipts that prove it was in there, you wont have a problem getting money back for it.

Same thing happened to me a few weeks back in my Teg, they broke my passenger side window, cost me $90 for a new one, and my alarm went off! Problem is with any insurance claim u gotta pay them a $500 deductible up front!

yea smash and grabs are worse for us guys vs getting the whole car stolen... the damage never matches the deductible.. unless they have time to strip the entire interior

hhhmmm...I wonder if you left your car unlocked if you wouldn't have ended up with a broken window?

My old car got broken into twice, but the guys didn't break anything, either time...so I guess I was lucky in that sense.

I leave my cars unlocked, broken windows are not worth the hassle. Besides, I can get a new radio anytime...but replaceing windows is a big fuken pain since you pretty much have to drop whatever you are doing and go find a window or someone to replace it...what a waste of time
