Car got broken into!!!!

My car was sitting on my driveway in front of my door with a Compustar Alarm with dual stage shock sensors and they still manage to get in without my alarm going off. Now the only thing they took was my Amp and Sub. The amp was a Phonix Gold 150 watts I believe, and the subwoofer was a Kenwood KSC-BP110 sub. Its a bandpass box. Plexiglass and stuff. Those were the only things that were stolen. Now my ignition is totattly F**** because they tried to start it with a screw driver supposedly and could not start it. So my steering column piece is broken off the piece underneith. Now what I find really funny is that, they did not steel my Deck nor the remote for my deck. My remote was sitting in my glove because my car is currently broken. My second cylinder is flooded and if you were to start the engine you would get so much smoke behind you that you can litterally say its a foggy day. That's how bad its smoking, white smoke might I add. I have my MOMO Apache steering in there as well which was not stolen. They only stole my amp, sub, booster cables and flares, oh and a Motormaster tool box. So if you guys see any of these items, please drop me a message. Although they might not be worth much, but they mean alot to me, since I enjoy the small pounding it gave me.

We have to get these un-educated basterds!!!!!

Damn!!!

Atleast they didn't get your car...
Have you contacted the police?
Have you contacted your insurance company?
Where abouts are you from so we get an idea of the area.

How did they break into the car?
What was the point of entrance?

I'm telling you...Civics have been marked. I think just short of having a guard dog in the car (or sleeping in the car ourselves), our Civics wil never be safe.

Somebody's got to go take classes on how to steal a civic so we can figure out how these bastards are doing it.

Then we can set up posion spikes or something.

you said you had dual shock sensors? Hmm...are you sure the sensors were set to the most sensitive setting? If it wasn't set to that, there isn't much use in having shock sensors right?

But I'm very sorry to hear your loss, I hope you get your stuff back somehow

Yet another sorry about your loss... kind of makes you wonder who's next... anyone steals my car and I'll just have to get a better one.

Do we have a sticky on car theft?

If not, perhaps we should have one... to track when this is happening, and how often.

Thieves...

I guess everbody gotta make a livin somehow... muthaf...rs!

I find this hard to beleive as well.....if there were no windows broken, that meams that the door was opened.....if it was opened, the alarm would of went off.......DO YOU HAVE THE TRUNK HOOKED UP TO THE ALARM? There are ways to get into a car with out the alarm going off. I won't go into too much detail here......

One little thing for you guy's to know.......The Compustar has a learn routine JUST LIKE SOME OF THE NEWER ALARMS, that allows you to program up to 3 remotes into the brain. Have you had the car into service or left it to a person with the remote on the key chain? If you have, all it takes is about 5-10 seconds to program another remote into the brain. If this is the case, this would explain the reason why it might have not gone off.....they just used their own remote.

If there was nothing cut, or broken.....and the alarm still works, and nothing is wrong, I would suspect this is what happenned.......

1. They already had a remote for the Compustar (and I bet other alarms as well...ie.....Clifford, Viper, Avital.....ect....)

2. They programed the THEIR OWN remote into the brain....takes only seconds, if you know how to.

3. got your address....easy to do.

4. Waited..........:working:

EVERY TIME I GET MY CAR SERVICED, I REPROGRAM MY REMOTE INTO THE BRAIN 4 TIMES.......THIS WAY, IF THERE IS ANY REMOTES THAT ARE NOT MINE, PROGRAMED INTO THE BRAIN, THEY GET SHIFTED OUT THE THE PROGRAMING LOOP.

If someone has tried to program a remote in, they will be in for a surprise when they try to disarm the alarm.....it won;'t work.

Your lucky that they didn't get a copy of your key as well.......dis-arm alarm.....start car.....car is gone.......all this and no alarm going off.

Junior

Don't let this change your mind on getting a Compustar.

you know what, i think that they might've gone in though the hatch, because it doesn't go off when the hatch is open. about the car being serviced no, i got the alarm put on by RPN and you can see them do it. maybe they did try to jump it while the alarm was on but could not start it because my rear hatch was left open like the cover and my center piece was kinda bending out. So there is a possibility. I have a 4th gen. So i guess i should really get some hood/trunk pins than and get some prox. sensors as well.

-> My sensors are up all the way, everytime at the meet my car 1st stage would go off. JunkSungKid got mad at me because my pager kept going off and he's like "turn it off when your hear"

well, what can i say, there is good news and bad news about this. bad news is that insurance is not going to re-inburse me for audio, but they are going to pay for half, yes freakin' half for the ignition. Now i have to use 2 keys now. 1 for car and 1 for door because the cost to change them all would be riding me through the roof. Well i was deciding to shave it later so i guess its alright. and as for my motor, it was shot, i got it towed in to the mechanic, he said your piston is gone, i think it cracked the block. So i'm going to get another motor.

But just because of this, it doesn't mean my alarm doesn't work. and dave it was armed. because when i got to my car i pressed the alarm and it disarmed. but other than that the alarm does work though.

if it does go off, my pager pages me with that beeping sound. and my dad would've woke up, sicne it is right there.

-> okay question, can you make that siren louder???? i herad you can correct?? maybe i should do that.
