Unhappy Car got banged up RIGHT before muffler change

Well dudes...

As most of you guys know.. I bought the Replica Twin Loop exhaust...

I was on my way to get it changed.. and I parked in the parking spot... (I'll keep the name of the shop hidden for now cuz I don't wanna have people thinking this place is bad... cuz they're good.. just the dude driving was bad). Anyways... They decided to take my car in to the garage.. hoist it up and see how much it'll cost and how long it'll take... they give the keys to this guy... he gets in my car.. I hear my engine high rev to like 6000 RPM (cuz my muffler is loud)... and then I hear the wheels screech as he drops the clutch or something...

Anyways... the guy backs right into a pole and my rear quarter panel on my driver side is smashed, rear tail light is cooked... rear drivers side part of the bumper is scratched like a motherphucker.. and my rear skirt is scratched up... that's the damage that is VISIBLE! However.. the damage that's underneath may be more.

The shop is doing it's part... which I am happy for... they have agreed to pay for all the damages and repair costs. Also for the meantime.. they'll pay for the cost of a car rental so I can get to and from work and home.

So all in all.. the car shop is good but the guy doesn't know how to drive manual... and woo.. my yoko parada spec-2s now have their first major rubber damage (from the screeching of my tires).

The estimated repair date of my car is Fri or Sat.

I'll keep all of you guys posted as to what happens. This experience has taught me NEVER to let somebody drive my car.

But I hope I get my car back soon and in good condition. As for the moment.. I drive a large 4x4. It's kinda funny seeing me in a 4x4

What a idiot, thats why whenever i take my car to any shop i ALWAYS tell the guy that im gonna drive it in/out my self...and if thats no possible i ask them to be extra careful and get someone who knows how to drive a lowered car...

but at least they're gonna pay for all your damage, which they should obviosly...and its a good thing you were there to witness what happened, otherwise who knows what they could have said happened....

Kent that sucks ...

well if it happened to be I'd have them fix the damage and if they ever want me to come back again they'd also install the muffler for free or fire the dude ... it's one thing to learn stick it's another to learn stick on someone elses car.

Yes but the car rental company won't insure me cuz I'm under 23.

All rental car companies make you pay like $5-$10 for underage fee.. that's for liability insurance.. HOWEVER.. Collision insurance is not given to you unless you're over the age of 23 (from the rental car company).

I'm calling EVERYWHERE.. my credit cards.. insurance company.. EVERYWHERE
