Well guys add me up to the R.I.P. car list. My car was taken from me a lot more painful then it being stolen. I was T-boned by a DRUNK speeding Denali who wanted to make the yellow an sped up to about 80KM while I was in the middle of the intersection making a left. My car flew back into another car and the Denali flew into another two cars. The guy was either drunk or high the cop wouldn't tell me, but he was taken away by the crusier and was charged for the whole thing. Other then my car looking like a pile a scrap metal, I was pretty banged up myself. No visible harm on me but lots of muscle pains. My parents will be looking into legal advice about the **** that hit me. Who knows maybe I can get an S2000 out of this. LOL... Anyways, most of my aftermarket stuff was saved. Beleive it or not my Buddy club front doesn't have a scratch on it. I will be posting it for sale along with some other items in the classifieds. So you can go check it out there...

Other then that I'm just happy to be alive. And my next car is just gonna be STOCK.. I'm out of this game....

Scotty, the rims are pretty banged up buddy. I think Rich wants the tires. So I guess the rims will be his anyways unless I can get them parted. I need my steelies back before any tires are coming off. If you can arrange something with him, so I can get my blades off, that would be very helpful. I think he's gonna call you today.

If he was drunk take definately sue him. My friend was hit by a drunk driver and got a huge settlement. And be wary when the insurance comany wants to settle quickly...Make sure that your getting proper compensation.

Glad to hear that your OK. Just be carefula and take it easy because olot of the injuries can pop up later so makde sure you ger a good Physiotherapist and not some crack pot...Dont get out of the game tho! every car at least needs to be lowered!

I have a question though, if someone is turning at an intersection and they get into an accident then it's their fault, but does this not apply if the other person is impaired? I'm just curious about this; I'm not trying to say that this was/wasn't your fault so don't flame me.

I'm assuming that your front end isn't that badly damaged since your Front body kit is intact.

Can you ask your insurance company what the salvage cost on the car would be?

I'm interested in seeing if the engine is still swappable

The light was yellow when I was making my turn. The guy started speeding up when he saw the yellow, but when he realized he couldn't make it he braked hard and swirved out of control, so by the time he actually hit the intersection the light was probably red, and I was almost clear out of the way. The guy hit me right in the side, but closer to the rear.

Nonetheless, glad to hear you're alright and sorry bout the loss ! I too was hit by some drunk dude.. car just needed repairs (body work mainly and nothing major), but I remembered I was pretty pissed off!
