Angry car broken into - stupid thieves

Yea I can't believe how stupid thieves are these days. I am parked underground in my building and I got a call from the police at about 3:30 in the morning... when my gf game me the phone I was expecting the worst. Fortuinately I guess you could say they called to tell me that mine and 3 other cars had been broken into...

I went downstairs and they hit a Jimmy with a big screen for watching dvd's and he had a nice pair of glasses on the dash as well as speakers etc... and a Jetta but I'm not sure what he had in it cause the guy wasn't there... Anyways to my car... those who have seen my car it's stock... I had it painted the same color and it's not moded in any form.

I had nothing in my car except for a pair of golf shoes (brand new in box, on sale for 40 bux at sportchek) but other than that nothing... does that stop the morons from breaking in.... NOOOOO instead they ***'d the lock... went thru my glove compartment to find 3 old old tapes and a container of sunscreen left them on the floor... rummage thru my car and the best part is they didn't even shut the door... if they had when the police looked at all the cars when they were called the probably woudln't have noticed anyone was even in my car.....

I just can't believe how stupid ppl are... there's more damage done to my lock and the paint around it then what was lost... like was stealing a pair of etonic golf shoes )on sale when I bought them I might add) worth possibly going to jail?? I just don't understand....

anyways they dusted all the cars for prints and luckly recently cameras have been installed although I dunno how good they are... the police were getting em from the super intendent when I was going back upstairs so hopefully something is on the tape they can use to take try to prevent these cowardly a$$holes from stealing ppls hard earned property....

I hate stupid thieves. You're right, I don't understand how people can risk being charged for $50 worth of stuff.

Anyways, how did they get in your underground parking lot?

that's a good question... I guess in theory there are many ways... Could have waited on the street until a car came into the lot and followed them... The police were looking at a door that might have been broken into to get inside... I'm just hoping that the police find something on the video tape.... but it was pretty serious they hit 4 cars all within a few feet of each other and took off....

It's convienent that the "rent a cop" that the building hires to secure the property wasn't around... good to see he's earning his wage

Glad to hear that you didn't loose anything, and the fact your car still remained on the scene

anyway to get to my point i went righ the police sation right after it happen cause the theives were stupid enough to leave the tools they used in my car... so i went there and they did a report and stuff and i asked about taking prints from the car and they said its not worth it, it will takes months to get the prints if they could even find any prints and said its a really low priority on the list for prints.... anyway they just didnt take prints.... im woundering what do you think the total amount of items that got stolen from everyone is worth ?? must have been alot for them to take prints no ?? like does anyone know if they try and take prints all the time stuff from a car is stolen ??

Yea I wonder about that... like I dunno how they decide if there gonna take prints or not.. when punkndrublics car got busted into the guy left a screwdriver.. the cop took it (probably threw it out) and said they don't take prints... last nite 4 cars got busted into in the same underground parking lot.. the one guy w/ the jimmy lost a lot of stuff... deck w/ a tv monitor etc... so that was a lot.. and they ripped all the wires out of his car underneath the hood to get rid of the factory alarm... the jetta that got busted into.. the door was brual.. the deck was gone.. not sure what else thou the person for that car wasn't there.. and i dunno about the 4th car in terms of lost items....

so I guess to answer your question yes it was a lot of stuff and many cars hit... maybe it's happening a lot in the area and if they can start gathering prints if they ever catch someone in the act they might be able to pin him/her to a lot of crimes

well that stuff that was taken from yall cars is gone...the cops dont do jack about crap like this...the only time the crooks get caught is when they are spotted walkin away from the scene with a handfull of stuff or are stopped on a routine traffic stop and they stumble upon the stash...my mom's car was broken into 2 times and the cops were like "just fill out a report and call your insurance, there is a 99.9% chance u will never see your stuff again" so I hope u have insurance to get ur car fixed back up and perhaps replace ur golf shoes (maybe get some better ones now) and hopefully ur deductable aint too much either

oh and when my mom's car got broken into they stole the rear view mirror of all things! fuggin thieves are nuts

my car got broken into in the same underground parking complex last fall... the theives left there screw driver there too... smashed my window $30 repair.. and stole my ****ty jensen subs... they left my thing of 50 cds, my $400 deck, my nice amp... everything they just took my ****ty subs....

whenever i park overnight in that area i just remove my entire deck and hope people seeing a gutted interior might think its already been hit...

the saddest part is if i install something on my car to violently deter someone from breaking into my car i go to jail for it... gotta love our criminal friendly justice system

Not to be on the thieves side, but just because they left your car in a somewhat poor shape doesn't mean they are "Stupid Thieves" What are they supposed to do come up to your place and ask for the key? lol Anyways I've had my ordeal with thieves, my house got broken into and they took used clothes and my Shampoo?! haha not only that they sat and warmed up a bag of popcorn and ate it. Talk about bums

sorry to hear. I had my fair share of experience.
Cops won't do much except to take a report for insurance purposes.

By the way where abouts is your area? It will help others in the future.

that was probably one of the stupidest comments I've ever scene posted... no the thieves aren't supposed to ask for a key... however if u were a car thief would u want to attract more attention or less??? Chances are leaving a car door open would be a shade on the suspious side and would have cops be called quicker.. narrowing down the times it might have happened making it easer for court if they were to catch the sleeze that did this...

anyone willing to spend time getting pounded by bubba in jail for $50 or less of merchandice needs to seriously rethink there lives... like i dont understand why dont they just go on welfare... welfare bums got a raise in there benefits too... so they'd make even more of our money... but at least that way we dont loose our stuff... well aside from our money but we've been flushing that down the can with our government for decades

they probably took prints because they broke into 4 cars.

Could possibly be a small ring or something.

man that really sucks i remember hearing about punks cars gettin broken into last year, i cant believe they took ur golf shoes, honestly WTF are they gonna do with golf shoes, unless they stole a set of golf clubs and they happen to have the same size feet as u they are worthless to them, wut are they gonna sell shoes, i doubt it would be as easy to turn around as stereo ****.. btw punk this is pretty funny lol, whenever i park overnight in that area i just remove my entire deck and hope people seeing a gutted interior might think its already been hit...

Wow, I can't believe the damage they can do to get into your car, like the smashed window pics. My car got broken into before I got an alarm and you couldn't tell that it was broken into by looking at the car. No scratches, doors were locked and no damage. But obviously they knew what they were doing because they stole my front gsr leathers, sir cluster and p28 ecu /w conversion harness, well at least insurance covered it. They gave me a hard time though because it really didn't look like anybody tried to break in. Shows that hondas are really easy to break into.
