So, my take on it is, forget that. But, I'll go to support Davis and help him out if he needs me but, I won't be competing.

According to IASCA SQ regulations, you were required to do a DB Drag of at least 130db to receive 35 points. Now I was assuming SQ meant sound quality...if I can do 130db, I'd enter in DB Drag not SQ. SQ, which in most cases, doesn't need a sub to achieve that as long as you brought the right equipment. I've got 4 speakers in my car. All high end equipment. There was no possible way I'd hit 130db without a sub. And there was no chance that I'd risk damaging my speakers to try it. You get scored by install, sound, staging etc.etc. Any yet, I still scored higher than the person that won in the areas other than the 130db drag. The drag was why I lost. It put him and someone else over the top. So, it's safe to say I was REALLY pissed. As a matter of fact, the judge who judged my car actually didn't know I didn't have a sub and asked me to prove that I didn't after I told him there wasn't one. LOL

Yes, congradulations to everyone who walked away with an award. And thanks to everyone who supported TCC.
A special congradulations goes out to Mr. Gardner and James for a winning the Best Of Show award today. I guess it was well worth the work we did the day before eh James? hahaha. Mr. Gardner, pretty good father's day eh? heh.
Cheers,
Buddah.
