Well i'm gonna start out by say i got a 1990 civic hatch.
grey and rusted but you know what I love my damn car..
i sit in that thing and my problems go away.. I think you guys know the feeling.. I've been wanting to fix it up for like 2 years and everyone teels me " man just sell it and buy somthing else, your crazy to spend all that money and that car"
but you know what. now my car is in the shop getting all the body work done to it. new color, its going to be a nice navy blue kinda. I'm getting my new mortagi rims Mr7's the white ones.
and getting a new engine in the end of summer. and i'm laughing in there face. I just wanted to know where i can get a si vtec engine from to fit my car i wanted the chip too. but dunno yet?
any suggestions would be more than great...

Why not a B16A, bit more expensive but more hp and it's DOHC VTEC vs. SOHC VTEC. Personally I think it's more worth it.

My other suggest is a different set of rims. Montegis are heavy and not the greatest quality either, plus the MR7 is soooooooo 2 years ago.

These are just my opinions.

i would suggest the b16A as well cuz it pretty good for the money and it will rip since u have an EF civic my friend has the same one as u but with a B16A in it and its jus as fast as a stock ITR

and rims i would suggest Rota rims they are nice and light

Let the guy do what he likes!
If he likes the rims, then go for it man.

As for the engine- it ALL depends on your budget. If you have the money to spend, then go for B16A. Keep in mind that you will get some of the money back for it if you decided to sell it seperately one day...
Or you can just do a Mini-me setup- D15 block with D16Z6 head.

I'd do the Si motor like you planned, and build that... easy to put it, easy to rebuild, easy to make 170 hp with. Do it!!! ZC is too old, so is any B series cable tranny that you'll find. **** 'em... get the Si motor. There are tons of parts for them to do whatever you want with the motor. As for the rims, I totally agree with everyone, Montegi is totally out of the question man... esp white on blue. Get some hypersilver colored rims... either way, keep looking for rims, cuz these are not the right choice.

the MR7 Motegi rims are awesome.
The quality isnt bad at all .. i used to have the MR8's.

Anyways goodluck with your car and hopefully we get to see it very soon.

Thanks alot... i just put the insurence back on my car and i'm driving my mom's van to work for now but by like wednesday next week it'll be on the road.. and also i've taken some pic's before and while its been in the shop so we can all see whats kinda going on....
it just so happens i baught a pair a rims today too.. not the motegi rims. The ones i got are like kinda the same but more spokes to them. They seem really light too...
only 1500 with tire and rims 40mm i think he said...
its gonna look sick.. 16inch with a 2 inch drop ... can't wait to see it...
