Try homedepot or stephensons industrial..

Cynikal.Mindset 21-Jan-2004 11:49 AM

sandblasters cost 20bucks if that (stephensons rent-all)...a bucket, a hose and a nozzle...then u get the silica sand or whatever u need $6 a bag (its reusable) and then u need a compressor to power it all

this is what I used to sandblast my 86 crx

Cynikal.Mindset 21-Jan-2004 11:58 AM

this is what the rig I have looks like

kwikb16a2 21-Jan-2004 08:44 PM

imported_loudsubz 21-Jan-2004 09:01 PM

is it just regular sand or a special mix?

Cynikal.Mindset 21-Jan-2004 09:23 PM

its special silica sand...u can use different mediums for it, crushed walnut shells, beads, sand etc.

imported_loudsubz 21-Jan-2004 09:30 PM

if you want to reuse it, how does that go about? do you just put the sand through a sift or strainer and sift out all the crap and filter the sand?

Cynikal.Mindset 21-Jan-2004 09:58 PM

thats it man...just sift the sand with a stainless mesh strainer!
