Buy From The States And Pay No Brokerage Fees

Here is something i can help reduce or even clear all brokerage fees...

buying stuff from the states.. scared about brokerage fees..

well i was until i found a way..you need a few contats but it works..

when epopel ship and the ppl that manage the item being shipped even those that load it on a plane don't bother with teh package right..right..well its very unlikely package will be lost....right right..then do not insure package..its a risk but its saving you a bunch..

you have family in the states..well them if you ship to someone in the states close to canada then drive and pick it up..its still cheaper.... coz if you buy turbo then you will pay atleast $500 in brokerage..you can rent a cheap car and pick it up ..its tiem and effort but you can get your turbo kit without brokerage fees..

or you could ask your family in the states to ship it to you and take the risk of not insuraing your turbo..its not a big deal coz nothign happens to it..ask your family or hwoever its first beign shipped to ..open the turbo pack it up with really secured packing i say spend up to $100 CDN just packing it and hten for another $50-70 have it shipped.. when they ship it tell them to value item as broke car part
not turbo but BROKEN CAR PART

value say at most $50
then you might pay brokergae for 10 at most..

still you will be saving..want to know any thing else email me at mustngkilr@hotmail.com

bye guys and hope it works for you as it has worked for me..

i have bought all my car parts from headers to lights to hi flow cat and received no bill of brokerage..

bye now

jack

My cousin lives at the borderline of USA and Canada. Right at Fort Erie where the peace bridge is.

I was thinking about getting a Del Sol in the states cause theres a lot more and its cheaper there, but I hear overall the cost with taxes and such would get me hard.

But if is there a way to do it that way too? Even with parts?

When you order parts in the states, have it shipped to UPS Customer Service, Niagara Falls, New York Depot.
Track the package online. When it gets there, you have 5 days to claim it.

you could also request that parts are shipped via USPS.. no brokerage fees involved. Most online retailers will agree to send it this way if you ask.

USPS is the United States Parcel Service - basically the american version of Canada Post. (federal mail service)

It will take alittle longer to arrive. you'll still need to pay whatever taxes on the parts, but no brokerage. Brokerage = **** rape fee!!

I'm sure there are fees over a certain value.... personally ... if I knew someone in the states I'd get them to get it and bring it over as a birthday gift

USPS charges $5 flat for brokerage....compared to $40+ USD that UPS and FedEX and Purolator charge. That's just to do paperwork...you still pay taxes and duty, but there is no way around it unless you enjoy smuggling goods over the border.

Damn, I almost got a headache from reading that. Engrish much?

USPS rocks. It's not as slow as you think. I've received stuff sent by regular mail from California in 3 business days.

USPS always takes 2 weeks for me. doesn't matter where in the states. could be Cali, Connecticutt, North Carolina, Florida, etc. UPS however always takes exactly 3 days.

Yep you are right. The way I get around paying duty for shipments VIA USPS or any other carrier is request that the seller mark the item as a GIFT and put the value of the package at $20. The folks at the border will not levy ANY duty on packages of this value.... so even a package sent through UPS or fedex will not be levied taxes or brokerage. Screw the government cause they are screwing you.

Just be careful though. The people at the border know what parts are worth, and if they see a brand new turbo kit come across the border for $20, they'll know.
