A break in attempt on my car.....

I am soooo f&*$%#&ing pissed. Some ahole tried to break into my car last night. They broke off the panel between my front window and my back window. At least they stopped there. This is the 3rd attempt or success on my car. Man I have to hurry to get my compustar on. Still waiting for stock to come in!! Would the compustar go off is someone is meesing with plastic thing on my door, or do I need the proximity sensor. What exactly does the proximity sensor do?

Does anybody know how much and where I can get that black plastic panel that separates both side windows.

I am soooooo mad I want to punch them out. I had just finished washing it and doing and adding a layer of express wax to my car. It looked sweet!!! Too sweet I guess. **** am I going to have to stop wasjing my car to not make it look to attractive!!!!

what the proxmity sensor does is that if someone is circling around your car for more then 10 secs your blinker light will blink faster...and if the individual stays longer it'll set off warning chirps and the alarm will actually go off if they stay longer then 30 secs. wherever there is movement it'll sense it..inside and outside in a circumfrence zone...

you don't necessarily have to get the compustar... you can get an alarm the has the option to add a proximity sensor to it and then add a pager to the alarm..

Me too

I am in Sept.

Once at my Girlfriends in thornhill (successful break in), and twice at my place. (one successful break in, and this butchering)

It's a parking lot at my apartment.

Well I do want a two way paging system and of good reputation. I am willing to drop $500 for it and from what I heard compustar is the way to go. Any other suggestions?

well, if you go for compustar make sure you get the one where they have fixed the pager... i heard that there was one particular model where the pager doesn't work properly after awhile.... do some research on this and find out...

i might have gotten mixed up with another pager alarm... magicar or something? have you heard of that? my buddy has it, and says that compustar is the better one for a pager alarm overall...

I also have spoken to some audio & security shops...they recommend it...but agree that there were some that was messed up, and may have gotten all of the bugs out in the new model...

man i know how you feel, someone got in my car like that last week and stole my deck, they got my passenger window open enough by flexing it back and i guess opened my door lock, f*ckers screwed up my glass, but the fools didnt manage to get my changer which is worth more than the deck , proximity/pager alarm is my next step before i add anything inside my car, the funny thing about it was they did it when it was raining, im assuming its easier becasue of the rain noise to cover things up, so everyone watch where you put your cars when its raining.. *looks outside*

Well I was lucky enough (ahh the Irony), that tehy broke it off well. The clips were still attached with the screws. So I got some crazy glue and just glued them back on. It did a great job.

Just get a rifle and a good quality scope, and snipe from your apt at the parking lot. Then go down in the morning and check your kill count

Sorry about your car, but luckily the trim is available from any dealer.

Nothing at all, bone stock. I even detach my deck and bring it in every night. There is nothing to se whn you look into my car. Not even a piece of paper.
