Bought a '93 Civic yesterday!
Details: Red, 2-door EX coupe, sunroof, air, pw, pl, pm, cruise, 105K miles. Body is in average shape with very little rust around the rear wheel wells (got a buddy who can repair that). Car is from the US, the a/c need to be charged and the gas gauge sometimes sticks.
Front brakes were done last week to meet safety. Paid $4,700 for car safetied and e-tested. It's sitting in my garage right now. GF is coming down to pick it up next week once she gets the paper work done on it. I'm taking it for an oil change and having the guy in the parking lot at my work detail the inside.
I usually have a really good eye for cars (owned approx. 10 in the past 6 years) but I didn't notice this until we got home but I think the car may have been in an accident. She drives perfect but the front hood is missing the emblem and there is no holes where the emblem should be. Doh! And the two scoops in the front bumper should be black but they are body colour. Also, the passenger door sticks abit when opening. Some job I did looking it over eh!
But she should still be okay. I smashed my '91 MR2 before to the tune of $16K but after the repair she never ran better!
What do y'all think??

Thanks guys. The door actually sticks at the top end of where it meets the quarterpanel window. Where the weather stripping meets is where she tends to stick.
Do you guys know what kind of lube I can buy to grease up the sunroof track so she doesn't chatter?
Also, did they ever change the name of the EX in the US to Si or do they still call it the EX to this day?

It was in CDN funds. Thanks Joker.
The only other decent '93 si that I saw out there was from a small dealer selling a nice green coupe with 180K kms. He wouldn't go any lower than $5,700 and then factor in both taxes. The body looked to be in extremely good condition compared to the others I've seen.
Funny thing was when they were moving cars around to free up access to the car they were bumping cars without a care in the world!

The US EX is the Canadian Si.
Honda Canada follows Honda Japan when it comes to trim.
The Canadian EX is the 4 door sedan. I'd be thinking "WTF" if I saw a 2dr EX drivin around.
Congrats on your car though
