Borrow someone's timing light?
I am bringing my car for a e-test, but want to make sure it's running right first. I was wondering if anyone had a timing light I could borrow to check my timing. CT wants $40 to check the timing (rip off), and to buy a light is going to be at least $50. If anyone can help me out that would be great. I am in the Hamilton area, but can travel a bit since the weather is nice today :)

Come'on.......no one has a timing light? I know it's only $50 to buy one, but I am cheap. I will throw in a free Tim Horton's coffee/Ice Cap for anyone who can help me out :D

How about CT loan a tool program?

I thought about that and I am pretty sure they don't lend them out. I am going to double check tomorrow though
