I'm paranoid about my car too..... it's only an Si but still...
that's why i spent the $$$ for a good alarm

Square One area has been bad for the past couple of years with cars being stolen left, right, and centre right from the mall parking lot. That's why now when I park there I always park next to one of the security cameras.

Sorry to hear about your car man.

R0Y 12-Jul-2005 07:35 PM

guys this is my friend's car..... not mine
I'll go crazy if my car got stolen.... and I mean it literally

imported_G2 Speed 12-Jul-2005 08:54 PM

why don't people just get that GPS **** in there cars.. everyone know's how fast civics and other imports get stolen, why not pay the money and get those high high high quailty alarms...

my plan is at first when i buy a car... is no alarm system if it's stock... "insurance will cover it".. when i start to modify it all put a decent on like compustar but when i start to have more then 5g's + all get one of those gps things... alot of those companies also have gaurntees that if your car is stolen and not found they will reinburst you or something like that

imported_G2 Speed 12-Jul-2005 08:56 PM

my bad...

In the unlikely event that your vehicle equipped with a Boomerang device is stolen and not recovered, we offer you two options:

* We will install an equivalent Boomerang tracking device in your new vehicle and cover the service fees for one full year;

or

* We will refund the Boomerang device's purchase price, installation costs, and service fees as per the terms and conditions of your service agreement.
