Better car colour?

I'm looking at picking up another car, my current is silver. Would like something else that doesn't show chips as easy as I do tons of highway driving. Would black be the best for touch ups and so on?

But black is awesome!

But in your case, go with a light colour.

Yeah silver is fine, just get a clear bra put on it. Or paint the thing white. It reflects the most sun so it's not deep. A 1 step cheap white paintjob will look fine.

i have a black and a silver car so i can tell you first hand that black is a difficult color to mantain (only if you are too much into your car and cant see it all dirty and sludged up)...if you dont care much like most average people, you should be just fine with it.

the upside to me...the car looks sick when its clean.

silver or a lighter shade will be much more easier to clean and mantain obviously.

Black is my fav colour for a car....However, it shows EVERYTHING!.....lol.

Silver probably shows the least.

Guess because I'm use to my silver I see everything. I googled the 3m treatment someone mentioned and came up with nothing. Can anyone explain?

it's a transparent covering that goes over the bumper, hood, fenders.. wherever you want it.. it protects against stone chips.. I believe one of our affiliates does it.. it may have been audio heaven..
