Best Time To Buy A Car?
What would be the best time to buy a used vehicle? I'm thinking it would be like right after winter. So Aprilish. What do you guys think? Do you tihnk that there is more cars available up for sale, used. THe cars that you are looking for, and more selection since there are more sales that people are putting out, and cheaper rates, just in time for spring and summer?

Best time to buy a car is when you can afford it!
But usually most people buy cars in the spring time so yah prices will be a bit higher , less people buy cars and drive it in the winter unless they're buying beaters.

yea...best time to buy a car is fall/winter, thats when the new models come out and thats when people sell em for less cuz the demand for a cool car isnt as high...in the spring you can get a good 500-1000 bucks more than in winter if you are sellin a car

There is no such thing as "Best time to buy a car"...
As far as buying a new car,why wait to get a new car just before the upcoming new models come out ??
You will be limited as to what color or models you can choose...
Remember, even if you "think" you're getting a good price, you can get the same price any time of the year...
A dealer will not loose money on a car ..!
Plus when you buy a new car, you lose as soon as you drive the car off the lot, no matter what. Right ??
On a positive note, check regularly to see if the dealer are offering lower financing/leasing rates.
Best time to buy a car is when you really need it.
Best time to buy a used car is anytime... but keep searching and looking at lotsa cars then choose the best one.
Dont buy the first one you see.

new cars are best bought at the end of summer/early fall. Used cars are best bought in the early new year, cuz everyone is broke from x-mas bills, plus it's too damn cold to go check out cars... therefore demand for cars is lower, while supply is more or less steady.

I dont think winter is a bad time at all to sell a car. I sold my civic in february and got tons of calls for it, and more money than I thought I would.
I dont think there is a "best time" season wise with used cars. I think there is a "best time" dealer/seller wise. Catching them on a good day, in a good mood.
As for new cars, best thing is to keep an eye out on promotions. Low financing and interest rate times. To bad Toyota and Honda never offer the rates domestics do...damn them and their quality vehicles.

My best friends dad has sold cars for many years
he said that you can find the best deals after new years, around mid to late january. this reason sounds like BS but apparently its true, but reason being, ppl need money quick to pay their credit card bills after spending like crazy around x-mas time. Thats what he told me the other day
