Best place for oil change?

So what's the best place to take my car in for an oil change and general service? And no, i wont do it myself cuz i'm lazy

I want a place that's reliable and doesnt take my car out for a joy ride. I had a problem with that at Formula Honda before.

Get off your lazy **** and do it yourself

Seriously I rather do it myself and know it's done right with a factory filter and the oil I want.

People like you shouldnt be driving such nice cars if your not willing to do your own oil chnages, its really pathetic.

So if I own a ferrari I'm suppose to do my own oil change?

I think maybe you should edit or delete your post, it sounds really idiotic.

I have to agree. If I don't want to do my own oil change, whats the big deal. Some people don't have the time or place to do it themselves.

I don't know a lot of people with a lift in their driveway to elevate their cars properly in order to do an oil change.

If someone has the time to change their oil by themselves, then that's great! But if someone would rather go to a garage and have something as insignificant as an oil change done for them, then that's their prerogative.

Oh, and as for locations for oil change. If you're using synthetic oil then I wouldn't recommend Mr. Lube! It was about $90 before I was done there with a Honda filter and synthetic oil!

you own a civic not a ferrari dont mistake the two. Im stikcing by my post, all you need is a jack and two stands, and you save yourself quit a bit of money in the long run and also the fact of knowing that the oil change was done properly.

I pay $25 and get it done at my mechanic. Sometimes ya have to wait and sometimes ya don't.
I can't justify paying more having it done at the dealer or a place like Jiffy Lube, etc.

I would do my oil change myself but I don't have the facility to do get rid of my old oil, besides you just can't dump it down the sewer.

I take my car to Castle Honda ONLY to get serviced. I've never had a problem and they're really quite good.

Hondas are one of the easiest vehicles to do an oil change on. Do it yourself... just don't strip the oil pan threads ROOKIES!

SiR-Racer, if you're not too concerned about the price and more concerned about quality of workmanship, you're welcome to visit me in Hamilton where I work. Just send me a PM.

FYI tho... it shouldn't take you any longer than 30 minutes max to DIY.

thanks for the offer but hamilton is a bit too far for me.

and yes, i realize it's very easy to do the oil change myself but honestly i cant be bothered. i'd rather just pay the $20 and get it done.
