The best guy I've ever met...
Earlier today, FedEx sent me a package from my friend from Cali. Finally received my green flame gas today. I installed it and went on a parts run to test it out in the meantime. I was on the 407, hit the on-ramp, turned on the system, and gunned it...WHOA!!! talk about flamin'!!! hahaha. I drove it for a while, looking in my rear view checking out the flame when all of a sudden...BERRR-BURRRR..."flashing lights"...I'm like oh crap...so I pull over...OPP officer comes running up and says "are you ok?" I was puzzled. I said to him, "Hello officer...how are you?"...he says, "There was a call from arial patrol that a car was on fire...then I saw your car drive by with a 6 foot flame coming out the back of it...I said to him, "No, it's nothing...just a kit a friend gave me for Christmas"....he paused then smiled....he said "May I see it again?" So I shot it off and he was all bug eyed...then paused and started laughing...then he said with a smile, "tell you what, I won't give you a ticket if you disconnect the system. So, I opened the trunk and disconnected the tank. Then a strange thing happened, he gave me his business card and said, "this is my private number. I have a 71'Cuda that I'd like to get a kit like that for it. Gimme a call. I was like O.O????? "You got it Sir." Meanwhile with the both of us wearing big smiles, we get back into each of our cars, and drive off. All in all, a VERY interesting day to say the least. Now, I've got the tank disconnected and not going to re-connect it until the summer for meets or shows or whatever. Boy-oh-boy...very VERY interesting day. LOL For anyone who's had bad experiences with the law has got to admit, this case was pretty cool. I don't know about you guys but, I think this guy was pretty nice and forgiving with a great attitude. Thanks officer.
Cheers

it is on a switch...but, I didn't see him in time to flick it off...heh
I'd say I was really lucky. He was a nice cool guy in a good mood. With that thought in mind, I'm heading out to buy Super 7...maybe I'll win something with this luck...lol

heh...you too??? want to be a rice cooker like me? j/k.
I'm not sure on the price but, I once asked for Scarlemthug and my friend from Cali said about 150 US Dollar. Comes with standard yellow/red flame gas. Only problem is I only know to get refills of gas from Cali. Comes in 5 different colors...this time was yellow/green. It looked sweet. Refills are 15 US dollars. New tank with gas is 45 US dollars. So, I bought another tank that I can alternate refilling.
Cheers.

System works like this. Kit comes complete with glow-plug, nozzle, mesh-wire hose, tank, tank gas bleeder and gas. Install is pretty simple. Drill two small quarter inch hole in your exhaust pipe just before you muffler. I find just before the muffler is better cause less chance for the flame to be sucked back into the engine and you can run the hose right up the floor, up the side of the shock tower and through the rear shock mount of the chassis and into the trunk where your tank of gas is mounted. Bleeder hose allows you to control the amount of flame. Nozzle is installed as close as possible to the glow-plug of optimal igniting. Nozzle is controlled by a manual or automatic switch. You decide. Glow-plug needs to be wired up for power via the nozzle control...nozzle control hold two switches...one for glow-plug and one for nozzle open and close. Only thing is you need at least 5 minutes to warm up the glow-plug in this weather in order for the gas to really be all ignited for it's full effect.
Hope that gives you an idea.

Buddah, it is like the time when Ray took me for a spin in his car, and the cop told him to "floor it" that made Ray give the "huh?" O_o|| face... LOL
You gotta hook up with that OPP man!!!! Then he can come to our TCC meets and be our "off-duty" budyguard! LOL
ps. I saw my car today (in process), Philip is a great man!
