Seeen...if only it was possible to turn off the AWD on a Subi. I bet it would get the some good fuel economy. I was going to get a Subi, then changed my mind and bought a 01 Lude for that reason.

The Lude gets the same fuel economy as my civic eg hatch (sohc 1.5 non-vtec @ 70) considering the Lude has a much closer gear ratio

the RSX should do somewhere around 8L/100km and the subi, maybe 12L/100km
I understand that you like the RSX (great motor), though you might want to check out the Integra (great handling)

get a subaru. all wheel trive turbo. **** cant beat that powertrain. and boxter style engine. mmmmmmmmm torque
