BBQ Picnic on Sunday July 13 at a Park

What do some of you think about it? Anyone in? I was thinking of Sunday because it is supposed to be nice (no rain) and reasonable temperatures.. (not like 100 degrees).

I'm thinking....

Meet around 10:30ish Sunday morning somewhere with a grocery store (i.e. like Dixie Outlet Mall....near QEW, has No Frills....)

Once the people are there, we can determine how much food to buy and split the bill...

Cruise to a conservation area....(Somewhere like if you keep on going to the end of Mississauga road....)

Have a BBQ at the conservation area, hang out, then cruise back.

This can be like a "family/bring your significant other/hang out with friends" event.

For those meeting in Hamilton (or should I say Stoney Creek) on Sunday, you can cruise back afterwards....

The locations can change but I think the time should be set. Opinions are welcome.

If you think it is a good idea, we need to know what people can bring (other than what we can buy at a grocery store). i.e. BBQ/hibachi, cooler, folding chairs, tarp, soccer ball etc.

My contribution is just two folding chairs...

In any case, I plan on going out and enjoying this summer.

Mark

Sorry Mark, but unfortunately that's just too soon. I've already got my weekend booked solid. If we could schedule events a few weeks ahead I might be able to join in on them.

Okay...

I know it was last minute, Cayuga is also happening. I apologize for that. I am sure we can also try this again with more advanced planning. I didn't think I would much response. It doesn't matter too much to me. I was planning on going to a park and I thought it would be nice to have some TCC people come out. I am still going.

I guess I will go with this plan... Whoever would like to come, let's meet at Dixie outlet mall in front of No Frills at 10:30. I guess I will hang around there until 11:00. If no one shows up, I'll go somewhere with my friend. If there are people showing up, we can play it by ear with whoever is there.

The park I was thinking of going is at the North end of Mississauga Rd. In Belfountain? I think some of you know where I am talking about.

If you don't know where Dixie outlet mall is, it is South of the QEW just off Dixie. It is West of Dixie. It is pretty much at the corner of Dixie/QEW. I'll have my 6th gen black SiR.

If anyone is coming, bring FRS if you have.... I will be bringing mine and one extra one.

If anyone wants to get a hold of me, send me a PM and I can give you my cell number.

Too bad I can't make it , Mark. Great idea. Another time. I'll be available for the HD meet later on. Maybe you can drop by there after your day in the sun...
