305hp, 280lbs tq, 6sp, Brembos, 8l/100 k, etc for under $25k. Nothing to laugh at. The V6 and the new 5.0 both get stellar reviews.
Ive driven a few S2000 and they are nothing special. 10 years ago yes, but not today.

Clearly the driver does not know how to drive.

Each to his own. For the money, the new Stangs cant be beat.
Anyway, back to the o/p's question.... An S2000 would be the best choice over the TT. Maintenance and repairs would be a nightmare on a TT. No better then the VW's they are based on.

Ford has come along way, and they are finally making the right decisions (bringing fiesta back). But they have an even longer road ahead for them to be in visual sight of Honda's standing. That's why we are Honda FanBoys .
I agree with DSi's comment on the TT.

After crunching some numbers, I hate to say it, but the stang V6 does have an edge on the s2k.
2011 Stang V6> Weight:3350lbs, hp:305, = 182hp per ton and near 50/50 weight distribution.
2000 S2k> Weight:2800lbs, hp:237, = 169hp per ton and 50/50 weight distribution.
With the proper suspension, brake and tire upgrades, the stang would be faster on a race track. Not just in a straight line.
I take back my laughter. lol. Initially I thought you were talking about the older stang V6's, which really are a joke...

what happened to the h22 swap you wanted for the longest time LOL
Anyways I ll choose the s2000 over the tt
However maintanence on both are very very expensive , insurace will also be expensive and those things eat gas
And I thought you were just modding your civic ??? ( lowering , rims , interior ??)
you must be loaded

for 25k there are so many other cars you could get....maybe not new but Im the type that will take an oder clean chassis for 5k or less and drop the other 20k in aftermarket goods can you say hella fast....lol
even getting an r32 or r33 skyline would be spank the hell out of a mustang

to the OP, it really depends what you are looking for in a car,
If your looking for torque and straight lining then the S2K is not for you, you will only realize the true potential of the S2K on the track and in curves. The S2K is more a drivers car if you ask me, you will feel more connect to the car because it pretty much respond without hesitation. Sure its not fast in a straight line like the stang but take it to the track and the S2K will do laps on that stang anyday.
To me anybody can step on the pedal an go straight,
I can't speak for the TT, but I have own an S2K and I loved that car. Fortuntely, I had to give it because of my first born baby but definitely I suggest you take it for a test drive first if you haven't already. Also a great forum check out S2KI there are alot of guys from the GTA on that forum.
