Argh can't find bike lock, will a Dremel work?

I think my brother lost the Bike Keys, I know I had one, I lost it 3-4 years ago but my brother had the spare. Oh well I bought a new ULOCK but now I need to unlock the bike, is there a special way? Will a Dremel with a cutting bit work? Its not the best, its an average bike, I just want to ride it to school so I dont have to fricken walk 15minutes each time in the weather.

Oh yeah its a CABLE LOCK

Dremel with a cutting disk will work or if you have access to bolt cutters that would be better!

Try using a hacksaw with a metal blade, it will require a lot of labour though. Another idea is to use an angle grinder. Give those a shot an see what happens

If it a "U" type lock, just secure it to something solid and pry it with a long steel bar. You need lots of leverage as the locks are tough. It will crack near where the U locks into the locing mechanism. That is why people started to put the "T" pipe oon their locks to prevent this. Cutting will take forever.
