alright bad karma, just keep in mind that you can only pay for your membership at the OFFICIAL meet, cuz no admin is commin to our premeet at 403/dundas. Your gonna have to go down to scarb to pay for your membership.

Sounds good John, just needed to hear that from you. Man...it snowed a tiny bit last nite...and I can already feel my tires floatin on the ice...I took one sharp slow turn n could feel the car still going straight rather then turning. I dono how Im going to drive up to woodbridge on sat early morning to get these changed...

I hope ppl do showup, plz dont leave a fellow member hangin out in the cold, if ur not goin post here ASAP to let whoever is still going KNOW. I really wish I could be there but my uncles gotta move, and he has no one to help him. Plus I owe him for lending me his power tools when I was makin my basement.

Anyways, my biggest concern right now is the snow and how well Im touching it. I cant take any chances and let my car slip...I think I'll just pull another early morning 7-3 shift tomorrow ...

we all should just meet at the official meet and discuss it all over there! thats my opinion and I HEARD not saying it will happen but we should hav a really bad week coming up u guys so bundle up and wipe out those winter tires im still rocking in my yoko's LOL. BTW good luck getting to woodbridge saad I myself now how it wells when ur wheels lock or brakes previous experiences with my old winter beater, aw just looking back on those 2AM driving around neighbourhood's pulling the ebrake and drifting priceless
but i dont recommand to any1 to do this unless u hav more then 1 car and its automatic and u now wat ur doing wat happened to me was as usual the snowplow took a little bit too much snow on 1 street so i was basically drifting on 1 inch of snow other then fresh snow that was never driven on. anyways c u all at the MEET! i won't be able to go to the official meet because i need to talk to my friends mom for directions around 8-8:30, so i'll be at timmies at 403/dundas, but after that i'll need to leave. hope to see at least one or two people show up.

i was at timmies for a bit but didn't see anyone on here show up. saw 2 guys in a red 4-door looking at me as i was leaving but i wasn't sure who it was. sorry if it was someone on here. have to reschedule a date to get together to go over a few places. its snowing so it might be tricky to get a good day.

I had to come in for work and I wasnt gonna cab it...bus takes 1 hr to come and I gotta switch 3 busses to make a trip that takes 15 mins in a car. So.....

I rolled out on summers. my street was horrible, cuz its all melted snow refrozen. Roads were fine right till my office area...I dono why they dont clean this area at all.

And now that its snowing again...I dont know if I'll be able to make it out of the parking lot..which is also slush Im gonna go home, drove my car onto a 2X4 and then change the friggin tires myself...this is rediculous.

i feel ur pain saad, i woke up this morning and all i c is white outside and my car was parked on the driveway and i got sooo pissed off i forgot to buy 1 of those winter brushs o'well atleast i made it to downtown in 1 piece!!!

My dads friend is sellin his passat for like 400, I gotte cert + test myself plus taxes n what not, plus insurance on two cars...AHHH!

its too late newayz. the car is finally on steelies and slipping and sliding has been reduced. Car dont look too bad on steelies either.

haha, thats true but i am still down for this...i just gotta safety my car hopefully tomorrow and insure it hopefully the same day and then i am good to go...i will post again in this thread a bit later in the week say, wednesday to make a final role call list of who would still like to come..=D

bro, I beleive that you cant safety your car without insurance... not that they check but its a law. U dont wana get caught driving ur new car without insurance...trust me...Ive had a lotta friends who have lost alotta money over this. insuring it takes like 30 mins.., oh and make sure you have your 10-day temporary plates from the ministry of transportation vehicles..... oh and if ur budgetting yourself...keep in mind u gotta pay a hefty tax when you go after your etest n safety to get your plates...

Don't worry about snow and salt too much. Spray your car once a week and you will be fine. 2 bucks per spray and at the most, 60 bucks is all you need for the entire winter.

ya i know..i would have been driving with dealer plates on it...but i insured it today and tomorrow should be the safety so i will get my 10 day permit and prolly drive with those for a month so i don't have to pay some huge tax right off the start and not have any money...lol
