Anyone out there interested in an H2B Kit?

Hi all,

I have recently begun building a new race motor, and its going to be an H2B build. For those not familiar with the term, H2B refers to using an H-series motor (H22, H23, etc.) mated to a B-series Tranny (ITR, B16, LS, etc.). Obviously it is physically impossible to normally mate these two components together, however, there are a couple companies in the States that have designed an adapter plate allowing this combination to be made!

Why you may ask? Well two reason's:

1. No replacement for displacement. And the H22 is a formidable engine!

2. The B-series transmissions have fantastic gearing, are built strong, and are highly modifiable. The exact opposite is true of the H-series trannies.

With that said, I have been in contact with one of the companies making said adapter plates. The company is called QSD, and you can check them out here: http://www.quartersportsdrag.com/H2B.html

After speaking with the owner, Seth, and telling him about my set-up, he has graciously allowed me to have a discount under one condition, that I buy 2 adapter plates or more.

I of course am only building one engine, and have no need for 2 adapter plates. But I thought that this would be a waste of a fantastic opportunity, and so with Brians permission, I would like to extend this offer to all TCC members. Let me stress that I am not making any money off of this. This is not a business deal, and its not something I can keep doing. Its a one time thing.

MOST importantly, this kit has several advantages over the other H2B kits on the market. It was designed in such a way so that nothing needs to be changed!!! In fact you can use B-series motor and tranny mounts, B-series axles and the B-series shift linkage! Its super simple!

So if anyone here is interested in an H2B adapter plate, and would like to save a bit of money on one, just shoot me a PM, or call me at 647 831 2076.

I am hoping to be able to place the order ASAP, and will require a deposit from the other interested party as a sign of good faith.

I am not posting the price publically because QSD doesn't allow it, but we can chat in private I'll try to answer any questions you may have as well, but keep in mind I dont work for QSD so I might not have ALL the answers, lol.

Thanks,

Peter D.

PS: For anyone that would like new axles, motor mounts, or a clutch and flywheel, I can also get those at cost as part of my business, and am more then happy to include them with the adapter plate at the buyers request.
