Anyone noticing that a lot of members are being stuck up???

Is it just me or does anyone else get the feeling of coldness from a lot of members...

it seems like if you make a mistake or post an honest question someone posts up a million rules about the forum or tells you to do something else with attitude

im just not getting the feeling of the club when i first joined... it seems like theres too many members quick to jump on anything you do.

anyways...my rant is done.

lates.

wrong forum and go tell your problems to somone else who gives a ****

and check the rules say no whining

hahaha, Just ****in with ya ....sorry I couldnt resist

I think some of they guys just get sick of repeating the same thing over, so they keep the sentences short, and it seems rude when thats not realy their intentions.

I think it just has to do with the amount of traffic on the board, more traffic means more people to moderate. If someone is breaking the rules then you cant blame someone for pointing it out, but the mods and admins are the ones who are there to enforce the rules, not random members. Once the weather gets better people wont be so cold.

When you bringing that crxtegra out?:P

this is what im talking about, bbarbulo

i WAS a member, i REALIZE this is a free service, but this free service wouldn;t feel like a second home if it wasn't for smart asses in it these days

whats your problem anyways? I simple stated i what I felt was happening to TCC

maybe i should second guess my wanting to be in what used to be a friendly club.

Like do i need to remind you I supported TCC at darknights, not to mention went out to a few meets and had the stickers on my car not to mention the countless members I have reffered to in the past!

and I DID join the club, sorry i forgot to renew my membership..... maybe its a good idea i dont.

Guests shouldn't be allowed to complain about a free service...

(I think I'll suggest that in my discussion group)

you get what you pay for the saying goes... don't like it start paying for it and your opinion will matter...

A lot of people are annoyed at the amount of posting some of the guests make, I know you were Paid at one point, I remember joining and seeing your crazy EG.
Personally, I think some of the members are being a little too "cold" to some of the guests, like when a newbie posts up a question in performance or whatever and gets yelled at to search (sometimes by guests too tho), I think that's uncalled for.

But when guests start complaining about services, they really shouldn't expect too much if they're not investing into the club. That's my opinion.

Yeah, ppl get blasted for posting stupid questions cuz it's not a lack of knowledge that **** me (I'm guessing other ppl too) off. I understand the quest for answers. I was in this game a long time ago, and I was a sole (modded) Civic driver in my town for hella long time - so I had nowhere to draw info from except vague magazine articles and my own experience. However, like I said it's NOT the lack of knowledge! It's the lack of initiative!! Now that there IS so much information available, why are there still questions like "what's a better swap?". The newcomers to the sport expect all the information to be spoonfed to them. It's already cooked up... all they gotta do is chew. But no... they wanna be spoonfed. Quite frankly, I know ppl say it's great that the sport is growing and whatnot, but I'd rather not have these ppl in the sport. It shouldn't be so easy for them to **** up a perfectly good Honda with their lack of knowledge. Modding is NOT for dumbasses.

As for how ppl treat you... I try to help ppl who try to help themselves first. Or ppl who help others. Give something, and you'll get something in return. Don't cry about how you "feel" in this forum You sound like a woman. Take criticism like a man and STFU.

I say this as a user of the forum, not as a member or a mod. It's just my personal view.

Bbarbulo, another way of treating stupid questions by newbies is just ignore them.(Don't reply to the thread) Calling other ppl names like **** sucker/sound like a woman/STFU etc is not the solution.

People will respect you if you stop offending them personally with name calling.

I don't know you nor do I have anything against you.
You've done lots for this board and I respect you you for that.

I just want you to know that name calling is for grade schoolers and not for mature adults.

Peace

I never called anyone a **** sucker... simply cuz for some ppl it's a lifestyle, and that's nothing to joke about.

Sometimes the new folks have valid questions... just cuz their post count is low doesn't mean they don't have a brain to think with. I look at nearly every post and reply accodingly. I just wish more ppl would think/read before posting. I'm on many other boards as well for various other makes/models, I can not tell you enough about how poorly the Civic crowd stacks up. I'm just hoping if ppl are inspired to think before they post, maybe we won't look like a bunch of gimps to the automotive world.
