Any Suggestions?

THE STORY GOES LIKE THIS,
ENGINE IN THE CAR WAS SHOT, DEALER FORGOT TO PUT OIL IN IT, RUINING THE ENGINE AS I DROVE BACK AND FORTH TO WORK FOR OVER A WEEK. THE DEALER REFUSED TO SWAP THE ENGINE, SO IM IN LEGAL HEARINGS WITH THEM NOW.
IN THE MEAN TIME I DECIDE TO PUT A JDM ENGINE IN MY LUDE. I HEARD GOOD THINGS ABOUT ALTECH AND DECIDED TO GO THERE. I WAS TOLD THAT THE ENGINE CAME WITH A 6 MONTH WARRANTY ON ENGINE AND WORK. AFTER PICKING THE CAR UP I HAD TO RETURN AS THE VALVE COVER SEAL SHIFTED AND OIL SQUIRRTED ALL ABOUT ON THE 407. RETURNED TO ALTECH AND FROM THAT POINT ON MY ENGINE HAD SERIOUS KNOCKING. THEY FAILED TO REPLACE THE ENIGNE. THEY KEPT TELLING ME IT WAS JUST PISTON SLAP (PISTON SLAP WAS NOT THIS LOUD, OWNING 2 PREVIOUS HONDA'S I KNOW WHAT PISTON SLAP SOUNDS LIKE). THEN I WENT TO HIS SUPPLIER AND HE TOLD ME THE PISTON WAS SHOT. DISCUSSIONS STOPPED AFTER THAT.
ANY OTHER WAYS I CAN APPROACH THIS WITH THEM? DONT HAVE THE PATIENCE TO GO THROUGH ANOTHER COURT PROCESS.

THANKS

Yep....court time for you. Sometimes, it's unfortunate that this is the only way some people will listen, and fix the problem.

The supplier came to altech and also said the piston was gone in the engine and then said they would not resupply an engine that did not have a fubared piston.

The only thing they were willing to do with altech was charge me $1300 for another engine and $300.00 for labour. What a joke, after being told by Altech several times there was a warranty.

They keep saying this is a rare thing that happens and that all their customers walk away happy. Well Im not happy and they should be looking to make the unhappy customers happy. I have no beef with them, but after dropping an additional $2000.00 in the shop afterwards and still no help on the engine issue, I will make it clear to everyone to think twice before going there.
