Any Honda Mechanics Here - Electrical issue 2000 SIR

it's a 2000 honda civic sir

the car acts as if there is no battery in it. there is a battery tho and its charged and fully functional.

i get voltage goin to and from the fuse box under the hood.

im guessing its one of the main relayes in the dash fuse box but i dont know which one. the car acts as if there is no battery in it.....no lights, no ignition, nothing happens period.

That's werid. Voltage to the fuse box, but to nothing else? How do you know your getting voltage there? Did you use a DVM?

Charged & fully functional? Did you charge it and get a shop to load test it?

I would check & clean your ground terminal from the batt to the chassis. Never know it could be that simple.

I assume you checked both fuse boxes? (under the dash & hood)

Try a service manual from http://spoonhonda.com/index_ie.htm

print out the wiring schematics for your car. Could be the ign.switch stuck open. Or re-check the easy shiat first.. if the battery is getting ground, an open in the wire, etc.

this isn't the "tell me whats wrong with my car" forum.

There have been some suggestions.

Why not take it to a shop?

If you were local to me and had a case of kieths I could tell you what is wrong with your car.

However your not, and I'm just looking at a computer screen and not your car. Try the simple **** first, download the manual for car and read the wiring diagram.
