Any guys with k20a

I'm in the market for an EK hatch, found a few for good prices but when I went to get insurance quotes the price was higher than the car itself. I'm 24, perfect record with 7 years and they still want 3-4k a year.

Anyways, just curious- how many hatches in the GTA have k20a's from the RSX-S or JDM ITR?

keep calling around, i'm 23 with clean record and pay $1622 a year on my EL with statefarm. you can do better then 304K by a long shot.

im with statefarm also and pay under $1800/yr on a 94 coupe...but get a ticket with them, your ****ed

i think it's cheaper if you have a relative or something with them and have a established clean history. i called the statefarm my dad was with and they quoted me 249 a month on third liability which isn't bad because i'm 17 while my buddy called and his family is with RBC and the quoted him 450 on the same car!

there are 3 or 4 K20 hatches that I know of.

S54, a guy was selling 6th gen hatch with a boosted K20A(2 or 3) for like 16K on the Classified. Not sure if it is sold or not, but that was one helluva deal.

k20hatch

my buddy has an ek hatch with k20a. Its crazy fast, but i dont know if it was worth the money. bought the car for 8 then the motor was 5500 mounts axels wiring **** was almost 2 gs, custom fab for fitting of the gear box, time labour... ohh god... by the time he was done he was roughly at about 10,500 with the work properly done. car hasnt been tracked yet. but i've been in fast cars and i say this car is pretty freggin fast..

its a great setup..if u take a gutted eg and drop a k20 your mid 13's stock which is awesome for a stock motor but then again with 10 k you could build something insane.
