Cops at the hospital said he left 1000 ft. of skid marks
That's damn near a 1/4 mile.

Would your views be different if he killed someone or a family?

i;m glad he at least had the decency to kill himself, without killing anyone else, and thus make the streets safer for the rest of us.

its a problem that took care of itself (except for property damage, which will have to be paid by an insurance company, and the tax dollars that were used for ambulances ond police response)

anyway you put it, its a terrible waste of a life. Too bad sometimes, when you realize that you are doing something stupid, its already too late to turn back.

No chance for this young man to regret...... RIP

is this the kid with the red rims on his SI?????

i understand this guy is your friend... but b/c this happened with him, people with anything thats lowered, rims, or a HONDA with a loud exhaust is gonna get probed in the *** b/c of this guy!!! not only in hamilton but in the GTA as well.... im sorry but you know what.. its called COMMON SENSE.. WTF are people doing on the streets.... i am honestly nervous about COPS coming after me b/c of other peoples mistakes and stupidity.

honestly guys.... i realy dont know what to say, there is literally no education on this type of behaviour!!!

they should do what they did with the young black kids down in OAKLAND before joining gangs... take them to the morgue.... and then they will learn...

this is what happens when people are not educated! this is not something to play with, everytime someone comes racing down my street, when my neice and nephew are playing i feel like catching up to him, pulling him out of his car and b!tch slapping the b!tch...

this is pathetic... and stupid... i want to see some car crushing!

Probably not.

I'm sorry, but I dont feel sorry for a careless and inconsiderate idiot like this guy. He got exactly what he deserved... a taste of Darwinism/natural selection.

driving like that in a residential area :/ ouch, he must have been flying, IMO no one deserves to die, taking his car and lisence away for a long time would have worked for me, and he is lucky he didn't take anyone with him

RIP

that car looks decent on the inside considering how hte outside looks

I guess they cut the top off to get him out

Everyone dies.

At the end of the day, you ask yourself - do you want people to praise you after your death, or laugh about the reason behind it?

Lapping days are available almost every weekend, you get to drive like an idiot all you want. You got something to prove, prove it on the track.

Notice how most of the street racing incidents lately like this one and the one of the 400 have involved kids that have just graduated, driving a car that they obviously didn't buy themselves? I think the problem is you don't respect it because it took nothing to get it. For some reason now, a lot of teenagers like these great examples think they are invincible and nothing can hurt them. They obviously don’t care too much about others either! Shiat, that guy took a quarter mile to stop? My brakes are crap and I could stop faster getting off the 401!
Although he made dumb choices I don’t think her deserved to die.

The area is a residential area near Lime Ridge Mall.

According to todays Hamilton Spectator newspaper, they were not actually racing, but just driving extremely fast. The photo shows the small numbered triangles set up on the street showing the path the car took. It looks like he was trying to make the corner and just lost it. The house he hit is about 500 feet away from the intersection.

yeah I open my car up.... but I dont go that fast nor do I pass the point where I am out of control. I dont street race. I speed but less than 15 over so I dont lose any points.
Stop assuming because it makes you look dumb!
