Just wondering if anyone knows if its possible to find out how many Del Sols and trim were sold in '96 and '97.
Or any car even.

I believe the Veloz was limited to either 500 or 1000 units. I'll have to get back to you. As far as how many were actually sold, I can find out.

Do you want to know total Canadian? North American? Worldwide? Do you want numbers by model year or calendar year? Your question is a little ambiguous. In any case, I can probably find out.

what does veloz mean?

velocity.. in spanish (don't ask me, even Mark don't know why spanish :D)

Veloz is velocity. Pretty much means speed in Spanish. In Spanish the actual word is velozidad(not sure on spelling but you get the point)

Hey My SiR: I was wonder how many 96 and 97 Si's were sold in Canada. If you can find out Ontario it'd be an awesome bonus.
I guess just numbers by model year would be good.

One thing I know for sure is that the '91 CRX SE was limited to 250 units. Man I wish I had one of those...

What is so special with the Veloz other than the lips and skirts and moonroof. Is there anything else that came with the Veloz standard that you would not with the Si. Is it the same engine?

The engine in the Veloz is the same as the regular Si. I think it was just the OEM bodykit, some interior dash trim, and badging that made it different from the regular Si.

Ya the Veloz is pretty much an Si with features at a lower price.
I have a poster of the Veloz but its all the way in my room...

ya, oem body kit, cf dash trim and the badge..
4500 worth of stuff for about 1500 over the Si..

They were handing it out at the Auto Show last year at the Honda booth so I picked one up.
I also have one of the Civic SiR hatchback and of the S2000.

It's just sitting here in my room taped to my desk wall. Beats looking at wood.

But to answer your question, I'm not doing anything with it really.
