Admins stop locking threads

When people ask for shops to get work done, STOP LOCKING THE THREAD after one person says to go to an affiliate. There are other places one can go, so please stop doing that, it's annoying and people have options. Just because the shop is an affiliate doesnt mean its the best shop for the job for that person, it may be far away, too expensive etc. So if you guys could please allow the threads to remain open allowing others to post their favourite shops it would be nice.
Thanks,
Chris

When you have your site to run, you can do what you want with it, until then, the people that have been put in charge of maintaining the forums will do so as they have been before you got here.

There are rules on this site that you have not read stating that not to ask what shops to go to as we have a list of affliates on this page they can look up. Other shops do not pay to advertise on this site.

Thank you

In future, pm one of the admins with your issues.

"people" you say, you are what peoples rep?

If they have a problem they can pm, and when so called "people" make a thread and it drags on for weeks and even months sometimes because they get 1 reply a week.........doesnt mean it needs to be continue.

The topic on shops has been covered many many times before, all “people” have to do is SEARCH, here let me give you an example for the future refrence…….you search like this: i.e. Muffler shops…or performance shops.

and if "you" have any thread prob, "you" pm the mod/admin of that respective section and so can anyone else.

Re: Admins stop locking threads

Unfortunately we still need to pay the bills here, so what would be the value added for those who help pay the bills advertising if we just let any shop promote their services. They may not be the only ones, but I've been to most of them and can say I trust the work of the affiliates.

There is an area where you can post your experiences with a shop, its called buyer/seller feedback. Good or bad you can post feedback about your experiences in there.
